Rule Book

Some say life is a game,
But where is the rule book?
I see the navigation,
Joy as a compass.
I see the exploration,
Bewilderment is the path.
But where is the rule book?
Some say it’s in the past,
But where to look?
Some say it’s in the present,
Some in the future…
I just know it’s now,
That all is happening…
A center
To endless dimensions.
A wonder
Full of questions.
Life is a miracle,
Not sure about the game,
Not sure we have to do anything.
Maybe be thankful,
See where that leads,
Feel the Joy,
Know it’s real.
What is reality?
A mental maze
Or mind clarity?
Frantic thoughts
Or peaceful feelings?
Not sure if life is a game,
But life certainly is,
Something.
A phenomenon impossible to describe,
But an experience we all have.
What are your rules?
That’s the question.
I’m just a mirror,
I’ve got no answer.
Within your heart,
You know It.
Let It overflow within your mind,
Let It flow, to free yourself.
Create your own rule book:
One that brings you Joy
And openness.
Each one their own book,
Their own way,
To experience life and love:
That’s creativity,
Cooperation and bliss:
That’s humanity.

A Trip

We are on a trip,
Life has its grip.
Yet so many illusions,
Some call them temptations.
Nothing wrong,
But so much time lost.
There is nothing to win
That hasn’t been given.
So, why all this struggling,
Suffering, forgetting our human condition.
Children of the wonder,
Children of the impossible,
We are on a trip,
Eternal by essence.
We may not see it,
Distracted by illusion,
But we do breathe it all the time.
A gentle breeze coming
From before we were born,
From before Time.
We carry the infinite within,
A quiet truth,
Waiting to unfold.

Love

I love you, brother,
I love you, sister.
Do you see?
Do you feel?
Do you love me?
Yourself?
All that is?
Sometimes, I hope…
Love is the gate to the open,
The door to the infinite,
The sense of wonder,
Life as a prayer.
Love is just a word.
Its experience holds the key.
It can be a volcano,
Erupting light
That makes you cry out of Joy.
It can be a peaceful lake,
Welcoming your thoughts
Making you smile in peace.
Love is just a word.
You are its meaning,
You are carrying its message,
Its reality, its truth.
A word,
Or the essence of Life.
Empty with your brain,
Or full with your heart,
Love is in your hands.

Hell on Earth

I’ve seen kids playing today,
Beautiful.
Their laughs and their screams
Dressed the park in happiness.
I smile, breathe deep,
It feels warm…

But suddenly I listen closer,
Zoom out.
And I hear,
The mourning, the wailing
Of families torn apart.

Too many children
Slave-working,
Bomb-buried,
Starving.

And worse:
Those who justify it,
Behind sick politics, failed economics,
And Wicked religions.
Weak lies
Poorly hiding their crimes.

We are an ignoble species
If even one child
Suffers hunger or harm.
How did we lose our grip on truth?
How do we fall into this hell
So easily?

Once, we rebelled in youth,
But later,
Called surrender “wisdom.”
We made peace with injustice,
And called it reason.

We accept hell as normal,
But what makes us human,
That belongs to a higher place.
I hope we reach the next chapter
Of our Odyssey,
If we don’t destroy ourselves first
In this war of all against all.

If we realize Earth is our only home,
Our only country, our mother,
Then bright years await,
A joyful struggle,
To repair the ruin left
By greed and stupidity.

Let us craft a better story,
Where humanity strives
For beauty and harmony,
For peace, love, and unity.

Hacking the News

I want to hack the news
By speaking to your soul.
Take it easy:
You will live, you will love,
And you will die.
No one can take that from you,
Not even the worst psychopath.
Take it easy.
It’s up to you to refuse the brainwashing,
Urging you to stand for one side or another.
Up to you to see the colors
In this black and white story,
Up to you to study History.
You can let fear and hate
Dictate your position,
Feed your opposition.
Or you can love and meditate
On our condition,
Feed your revolution.
This is great news.
The whole world can change now,
And it is all happening within yourself.
We don’t choose the timing of our experience,
Nor do we choose its landscapes,
But we own our reactions, our directions,
We own our revolution
To turn our petty selves
Into a shining part of a greater Self.
Leaving our jails,
We awaken our cells
To extend our human Odyssey,
The call from our souls.

Freedom is Slavery!

I am a white man,
So, I know all about menopause,
Abortion, periods, childbirth,
Not to mention breastfeeding.
I even have a friend
Who is a woman.
I am an expert,
And you should listen to me,
Except if you are a woke dictator,
Threatening my free hatred-speech.
Let me judge you,
Let me lecture you,
Let me insult you,
Or I will feel discriminated.
If you disagree,
You are brainwashed.
If you argue,
You are hysterical.
If you dare to correct me,
You are the real oppressor.
We can’t tell anything anymore.
I can’t tell white race is superior
Or you will call me a racist!
I can’t tell we should jail all leftists
Or you will call me a fascist!
I can’t tell women to stay in the kitchen
Or you will call me a misogynist!
What a world!
Where are our dear values of authority,
And submission?
Where are our strong leaders,
Showing the truth to the masses?
We live in a time of decadence,
But I see hope at the end of the tunnel,
As wise and powerful men,
Rise on the horizon of a reality
Where finally
War is peace,
Freedom is slavery,
And ignorance is strength!

Ignorance

We don’t fight because we are different,
We fight because we are the same.
We see the same sky,
Same sun, same clouds.
It hurts when we fall,
And we rise again.
We feel the same joy,
The same absurdity.
We all die,
Do we all love?
We fight because we are ignorant,
And can never overcome it.
Knowledge is an illusion:
We are, but we can’t know,
We can only experience.

Voices of Unity

I hear the ancient voices
Singing of Life and Unity.
I hear wise men and women
Walking the road to fraternity.
I hear the shouting
Of kings and masters,
I hear the blood spilling
And the chains creaking.
I hear the screaming
From the burned and the crucified,
Brothers and sisters,
Killed before their hour.
I hear the suffering and the peace,
Beyond time.
I hear despair and hope in the future:
I hear we will stop killing one another,
Love each other,
Welcome pains and joys
With the same confidence.
All has been said,
But so little has been heard.
Let’s repeat,
This is the voice of the future:
Love one another.
Look all around the misery of our condition.
Struggles and murders,
Fears and futility,
Hate and slavery.
Voices of peace and unity
Are drowned in barbaric rhetoric
And short-sighted stories.
I won’t listen anymore
To the chaotic babbling of my time.
I prefer the voices from beyond,
Voices from the Ancients
And from the future.
The voices of silence,
Bringing peace to our noisy times,
Bringing love and unity to our species.

Rain

“We’re at war with nature. If we win, we’re lost.”
― Hubert Reeves

I am the rain.
Born of the sky,
I fall drop by drop,
And dance in the wind.
I am the lifeblood of the earth,
The giver, the destroyer,
The healer and the killer.
I am Water,
Weaving through the veins of the world,
From the streams to the rivers,
From the clouds to the endless seas.
I am hope and despair,
Beautiful and cruel.
It took billions of years
For my cycles to attune,
But it is all changing now.
I am mad and I am lost,
I gather my wrath in heavy clouds
Ready to burst and unleash my might.
If you wage a war against Nature,
Once you win,
You are lost.
I am the rain,
The holy water
I am one with human,
Emerging from the same primordial sea.
I am a part of everything—
The puddles, the rivers,
The stones, the lakes, the seas.
I am in the clouds,
In the roots of trees,
In the pulse of animals.
Each drop moves with the whole
Each drop plays its own role…
I am the rain, I am water,
And I am eternal.

President

Please dear daughter,
Stop listening at school,
If you want to become President.
Please my son,
Quit reading,
If you want to become President.
Praise the rich,
Despise the poor,
If you want to be President.
Lose your mind,
Lose your soul,
If you want to be President.
You should judge all others,
Feel you are much better,
If you want to be President.
Give up on sanity,
Embrace evil and trickery,
If you want to be President.
No more Love,
Instead, an illusion of power.
No more mystery,
Instead, an illusion of destiny,
If you want to be President.
You got offered Life and its eternity,
But if you prefer to go down in history,
Feel free to lose your humanity,
And you may become President.
