23 Months

My oh my, Beau you are 23 months old! In one month we will be celebrating your second birthday - UNreal! Here's what I'd love to remember about this age:

• You're a talker! You talk all the time and we LOVE it!
• You can count to ten, know your basic colors, and basic shapes
• You know many Bible facts; it amazes us
• You are interested in potty training; something you discovered mainly on your own
• You are a music FIEND! You request music all the time and LOVE to dance.
• You're fitting more but we're learning how to communicate when we have these issues
• You're starting to discover how friendships are important
• You find praying to be very important; this is something I pray we will continue to nurture
• You are still SO affectionate; this is something we all adore about you
• You are wearing 9 month shorts, and 12-18 months clothing; you've really grown!
• Along with loving music, you're starting to sing along with songs. You even make up songs. You're the sweetest.

Soon we'll be celebrating your second birthday and it just amazes us how much we continue to grow in our love for you. Happy 23 months, Beauster!

Easter 2011 Continued

We had an Easter egg hunt at church after service and Beau had so much fun! He did think the brown bunny was a dog, but totally knew the white one was a bunny. Afterward we had some egg fun at Gran and Pops. Enjoy our Easter!

Easter Morning 2011

This was our morning before heading to church. The Easter Bunny came and Beau LOVED looking for eggs!

Wordless Monday

Much Needed Time Together

We took Beau to the main park in town and then the park by my in-laws today and just ran around, playing with silly string and balloons. We've really needed some fam time lately (as you can see by the lack of posting for almost a month!), so we took full advantage of an hour or so. I think Beau really appreciated it, and we totally treasured it! Enjoy some of our moments as just a trio.
