Birthday.

Image(above) That's actually my younger bro's cake that
my mom baked for his birthday last month

Every year,
I'm always not the kind of guy who
celebrates his birthday with parties of whatever
and I seldom receive gifts
but that's okay because it's in my nature
not to exchange gifts.

But personally this year,
I believed I have received the best gift ever,
people wishing me with text, MSN and Facebook,
and an meaningful email from a special friend,
just puts a huge smile on my face when I read them.
For some people, they always want big expensive gifts,
But I think it's actually really the thought that counts.
because by wishing somebody you showed them that you cared
that you remembered, even if its from a Facebook reminder,
it is actually taking the liberty to wish someone,
that for me...is just a priceless feeling
Some of you might think I'm talking crap,
but the feeling I'm having now is indescribable,
in a extremely good way.

So I just want to take this opportunity
to thank anyone and everyone who have wished
me happy birthday.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
God bless.

And now, I'm going to sleep
I'm sorry if this post sounded weird and doesn't make sense,
I have no idea why lately I can't really think properly when I type.
well once again,
Thanks for all your wishes.
Goodnight.

*peace*

Feeling extremely
thankful and lucky
to have a bunch of good people
as his friends.

Lion sleeps tonight~

Image
A lot of people might laugh at this,
but believe it or not since I was in primary school,
I've always wanted to join a lion dance troupe.
that's probably influenced by a lion dance performance
every year during the Chinese New Year in my primary school.
I guess it's kind of like every small boy's dream,
seeing the lion's jumping up and down made us want to do the same thing.
I bet some of the other guys the same age as me
probably wanted to do this.

And last year I wanted to look for a troupe to join/learn from.
but considered that I was already going to leave at the
end of the year and couldn't commit,
so I just didn't bother.

But this year, I was actually given the chance.
My school right now actually started a lion dance team.
(well it was actually like 2 months ago)
And of course I couldn't let this opportunity go.
And if you're wondering why the hell does a Kiwi school
have a lion dance team.
The place I'm staying at now is actually like
the Petaling Jaya of New Zealand.
there are probably around 40-50% Asians in my school
most of my classes have around 30 pupils.
but each class probably only have around 2-5 Caucasian.
others are Asians or Indians
mostly from south africa.
well what can I say, Asians are smart.
and there are tonnes of Malaysian here.

Back to Lion dance.
It may seem easy from the outside,
but let me tell you it's very very tiring when you do it properly.
Hate to say this but even Taman S.E.A doesn't have this kinda thing
haih...dissapointed...lol

My training is every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
and after school for Tuesday and Thursday, I go to the gym,
just joined for around 3 weeks. haha

Well just another boring post of boring life in NewZealand.
what a shame.
And sorry for the grammatical errors
if you spot any.

The internet is finally back

Last holiday, which was around 4 weeks ago,
Me and my family went down to this mountain approx. 5 hrs drive
well main reason is to go snowboarding and skiing.
I have never in my life had so much adrenaline.
Haven't had this much fun for a long time.

And this is actually real snow and not like in some artificial indoor snow park.
And because for two whole days I was just snowboarding and skiing I didn't actually have much time to take pictures, in fact I didn't even take any photos.
so the following pictures that I'm about to show you are actually taken by my mom.

Imagethe whole mountain was covered in snow,
beautiful

ImageI was like the most lost person there, snowboarding
was easier for me.

ImageThis is just like 1/5 of the whole mountain
and this is like the lowest part of the mountain.

ImageVincent.
ImageSome beautiful mountain.

well that's all for now,
will try to update more often.
sorry for this short post.

Hey...
Sorry for the lack of updates.
just realise I moved to New Zealand exactly 5 months ago..
time does pass really fast.

Well, got my new cell number recently
+64210743803
+64 is the country code of nz..
+ can also be replaced with two zeros
Texting cost 30 cents
so I probably wouldn't reply unless its urgent,
sorry...

well thats all for now.
stay tuned for some pictures soon.
sry for the short update.

And one more thing..
GOOD LUCK to those who are having their
midterms right now. have fun and don't stress yourselves up.
cheers.

Finally.

Has been almost a month since I last updated.
Sorry for that.
Was extremely busy and lazy.
As promise, hopefully this post will be filled with pictures.
NZ have been treating me well so far.

Started driving like 3 weeks ago.
Feels pretty good. Some parts were easier than I expected
and some were harder.
Especially like parking and stuff.
And since parents wouldn't really allow me to drive the more exp car.
I had to drive the big ass oddysey. It's better to drive anyway.

First term holiday starts next friday AKA easter/good friday.
Went to some Chinese temple near my place today
since they were having some multicultural festival.
They were also celebrating the Buddha's birthday.

ImageMain Buddha Statue in the temple. Pretty big.

ImageGroup photo of the people who participated.ImageRed Lion for the lion dance.

ImageGolden/yelllow Lion for the dance picking the thing hanging.
I apologise for the blocking pole. bad angle.

Moving on,
Dad asked us to mow the lawn and since we were so bored,
we kinda did something to the lawn.
scroll down to find out more.

ImageStep 2.

Visited some farmers market last week.
They were having some competition on the biggest pumpkin.
I think the biggest is one by the weight of 75kg.
After that, went for a hike with my family and some of my dad's friends.
The view on top of the hill was breathtaking..

ImageHuge pumpkin with my brother.
That only weighs around 40+kg.

ImageSome cool ass fire engine.

ImageView from top of the hill.

On the other hand,
daylight saving thing just ended, so now
all the clocks in NZ are turned back an hour.

Since I came here, a lot of people have been asking me to post up
my picture cause they wanna see how I look. (sounds so narcissistic)
and a lot of people were asking how does my school uniform
look like and stuff.
So...behold.... (scroll down to seee)

Checkmate.

I'm loving schooling in NZ day by day..
On friday, we had this mufti day kinda thing.
where students are allowed to wear anything to school
as long as it has something to do with the sea.
But turns out everyone just wear whatever they want and totally ignored
the "sea theme" thingy.
haha

And guess what..
this photo
Imagegot me
Image of the week by the theme of
shadow.

Well here's the deal. every week teacher will gave us a
mini assignment and the best photo out of six classes
gets chosen to be image of the week.
mind you..six classes has approximately 110 student.
and NOO I'm not bragging...*winks* hahaha

Well that's all for now.
sorry for the short post.
*peace*
