First Visit to the Dentist

Hannah did so great on her first visit to the dentist! She sat so still and let the dentist look at her teeth and even did great when Jeremy held her to get her x-rays taken. Unfortunately... Hannah has a cavity and in a couple months has to go under anesthesia to get it fixed. Of course I am freaking out about it! It is her top left tooth and ever since it came in it was discolored and I knew something was wrong with it. However, on the bright side it was her only one and that is great for a baby who breastfed for 16 months.

18 Months Old

Her 18 month well check she weighed 24 lbs and was 32 inches (50-75% for both which was a change from 75-90% which she usually has been). Since I didn't do this 2 months ago, I'll write what she is doing now at 20 months. She is starting to grow out of her invisible phase. For a while there she would close her eyes and think you couldn't see her. It was really funny, however, it would get kind of old after 10 minutes of not opening her eyes :) Right now Hannah still loves Elmo & Abby. She is starting to love Mickey and Minnie Mouse too. I cannot believe how much she is talking. She says everything! She knows everyones names (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins). She loves playing this game in her crib and on her big chair where she says Ready...1, 2, 3 and then falls on her bottom. She loves chasing our dog Elli around with her stroller and tormenting her. She is completely obsessed with the Christmas lights...she squeals and says pretty lights, pretty tree, and then ho ho ho whenever she sees anything Santa. We took her to a Memorial Football game with my parents and I thought she would last 5 minutes...she loved watching the cheerleaders and the band perform. I put her in timeout on Tuesday and she climbed out of her crib for the first time. She is completely obsessed with climbing and it wears me out. She loves going to her Aunt Sissy's house and playing with Bennett. As soon as we pull up she squeals Sissy, Zach, BB. She is still a calm, sweet child but she is throwing more tantrums :) She loves "talking on the phone" and she has pretend conversations all of the time. I don't know if I should be worried or flattered that she mimics me while talking on the phone!

ImageAmanda did a great job on Hannah's 18 month pics (as usual). It was crazy trying to catch Hannah because all she wanted to do was run around! Thank goodness Amanda has experience with wild toddlers :)
