Yes, I know that my last post on this blog was last April, sorry to any readers, I hope you haven't been bored! I did update my journal recently which makes me feel better anyway. There has been a lot of things that have happened in my family. I'm not going to go into detail (due to the journal), I am just starting anew.
Macady was born June 9, 2011 at 1:21 p.m. She weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and 19 in. We are grateful to have her in our family. She has been a good baby so far. When she was first born she looked just like her sister, but after a few days she has her own little look. Dr. Inouye started me about 10 in the morning (I was dilated at a 3) and told me to go home, that it usually takes 2-3 hrs to start working. Well, I started having contractions at 11, 11:30 I told Aaron we better head down to the hospital. Checked in at 11:45 and had her at 1:21. Fast! The epidural didn't get a chance to work all the way, just took the edge off. This experience was very different then with Seely. I stayed one night at the hospital and was ready to get home by noon. My mom came and stayed two nights and was helpful keeping Seely occupied and she cleaned my house, bonus! Thanks mom. Seely loves the baby, maybe a little too much. She hears a lot of "don't..." right now, but is adjusting pretty well. I have really enjoyed having a summer baby. It's nice to be able to get out and not have to worry about germs as much. At her two week appointment Macady weighed 7 lbs 5 oz, so things are going well. I am enjoying being a mom to my two precious girls. It's not easy, and I often don't know how to deal with my two year old. I am learning patience!
Seely has her moments of course but overall she is a sweet heart. She is sympathetic and concerned if someone is sad or hurt. She loves to play with her cousins. She loves her dad and always wants him to read her stories at night. She loves to cut with scissors and make "cards." One day probably two months ago, Seely had dumped out the bag of magnetic letters. When I told her she needed to pick them up she said, "I can't, back hurts!" It was funny. I think she probably got the idea because we would tell her when she went to grandma Graces that Grandma couldn't pick her up because of her back. Once part of her prayer included blessing us to poop. Sometimes she would get a sad face and say, "Jesus died." We say, "But it's okay, why?" And with a happy face she says, "Come alive again." She is a smart girl and amazes me with what she remembers. She must get that from her dad. Some of her sayings that we hear often: "That's okay" (like when she spills something), "That's a good idea," "hear that" or "see that," "p too" (me too). "Hi sweetheart" (to her sister). and "I wunt that." These may not seem very interesting but she says them really cute. She also sings really cute. Usually very very high pitched.
Aaron has been working with his uncle Ken at the middle school, and has been working in the yard (sprinkler system), and in the basement.

Catching up

For me pictures are the best way to update you on the goings on in our lives. This means you'll mostly see our little Seely. She is our greatest joy and blessing. She is 15 months now. She loves to be outside, see animals, read books, shoes, Elmo, and loves to be up on the counter. She can throw some pretty good fits, but for the most part she is a very pleasant girl. She is saying more a more words every day. Tooth #26 and #I just popped through which makes 4 on top and 4 on bottom. According to my scale she weighs about 22 lbs. Love you Seely!
Amanda got engaged Friday, March 19th. They are getting married this summer. Arie fits right into our family and we are so excited for them. Yay!
Easter was fun except for the weather. We spent the weekend in Scipio. General conference was good as usual and it's always fun to be with the fam. Aunt Jeanne and Mary were also down for a few days, and it's always good to spend time with them. We had a baby shower for April on Easter Sunday and following a dinner with the Monroes.
We have had a great 6 months and our looking forward to the summer and the yard.
