Savannah

Today the kids and I, along with my mom and sister, went to Savannah for the day. Our main purpose of the trip was to eat at Paula Deen's restaurant The Lady and Sons. It was great, and we had alot of fun. This was Parker's first road trip and he was wonderful!!(Thank you Anna for letting us borrow the double stroller)

Parker is now a little over 8 months and is growing like a weed. This has been a big month for him. He is crawling, he cut his first tooth(upper front), and has started sleeping through the night. He loves that he is able to move now. He loves to crawl into Ruthie's room and eat her toys!!! Needless to say I don't sit down very much!!

Memorial Day

Today we hung out at my parents house for some swimming, good food and fun. It was a nice and relaxing way to end a great weekend. Parker went for his first swim, and enjoyed playing on the pool table.

Nelson and Becky Get Married!

Yesterday, on Ben's birthday, Nelson and Becky got married. We are so excited for them, and thrilled that Nelson is now finally married. It was a great wedding, and once again it was great being with our friends. We wish them a lifetime of happiness.

All of Ben's hard work landscaping last year is sure paying off now. Here are some pictures of the beautiful flowers in our yard.

Happy Mother's Day

Just Once

Okay, I had to get one picture of Parker's hair up. I think he looks like a skinny sumo wrestler. Ben is being very patient with me about his hair. I told him we will discuss cutting it when he turns 1!

Mother's Day Breakfast

This morning I was invited by Ruthie to attend a Mother's Day breakfast with her class. Parker got to stay home with Ben, so it was just the two of us and it was wonderful. They sang 2 songs for us and Ruthie made me a special box with a picture on it and treats inside. I loved being with my big girl.

Sailing

This morning Ruthie and Parker were pretending they were in their boat going for a sail. It is a joy watching them starting to play together. Of course Ruthie does the playing and Parker just gazes at her thinking that she is the best thing around. He can't wait to keep up with her.
