Super Summer

I wanted to do a quick summer recap, but it's been extremely hard. After editing and deleting some of the pictures from this summer, I still had to look over the 913 pictures we still have in order to pick my favorite ones. These pictures either remind me of a neat experience/memorable moment or have an artsy look to them.

BBF- Best Beach Friend

I guess I am "ready" to go back to school, but this summer holds so many memories I don't think I'll ever forget it. I leave this summer challenged to combat my fears, do things I usually don't do, be intentional, and read like I've never read before. Here's to a good summer!

Beach Trip with Jana

Jana invited me to go to Emerald Island, NC. Her aunt lives up there in the outer banks on the beach. How do you turn down a trip to the beach with your best friend?

We went up there on Monday, July 30 and stayed until Friday, August 3. Her aunt, parents and niece were already up there. Our time was filled with swimming, laying out, running, reading, eating, relaxing, and talking. We played in the ocean as we attacked waves. We applied lots and lots of sun screen and after sun lotion so we wouldn't get too burnt or be affected so much. We read some good books and had amazing conversations. We did a little training for races and Jana convinced me to run a half marathon. We ate some yummy meals her mom and aunt made. We sat around and watched the olympics. We also caught up on life and just enjoyed life.

We ate out one night. This was our only picture together the entire time!

We planted doughnuts!

Read the back of the doughnut seeds pack... Inside there were Cherrios!

Jana's niece planted the seeds. She wanted to make chocolate covered ones.

The seeds transformed overnight!

One day it rained, so we went to see Ice Age 4 and then fed some animals.
