Molly's Christmas Program

Hey y'all,

Molly's Preschool Christmas Program was Friday night.  It was awesome!  She did a wonderful job singing and doing her moves.  We were really proud of her.  I am trying to upload a video of one of the songs, but I am having a bit of trouble.  I don't seem to be able to upload it directly to the blog.  I am currently trying to load it to FB and then I can add the link to the blog.  Cross your fingers for me...

Image
One of the mom's from Molly's class painted reindeer heads on t-shirts for the kids to wear during the program.  Then, I helped the kids paint their hands and make the antlers on each shirt.  They turned out really cute!

The whole program was really cute.  All the other classes performed too.  So far, no luck on the video, but check back.  I will add the link if I can.  The video is of Molly's class singing Rudolph.  There were technical difficulties... be sure to watch Molly closely.  She is funny!

Untill next time...

Molly's School Christmas Party

Hey y'all,

Molly's preschool class had a Christmas party last week.  The kids were all really excited and wound up!  Molly has some really nice kids in her class and it was fun to see her interact with them at the party.

Image
Here they are waiting for their party snack.  Sitting with Molly are Sara, Jayce, Cayden, Austin, and Annika.

Image
Here are two ornery boys, Leytin and Nick.  I think they are adorable and funny too!

Image
Colin made himself at home.  Thankfully that was okay with everyone else.  He was determined to enjoy the party as much as the rest!  Sitting with him are Stephen, Nick, Leytin, Ethan and Janie.

Image
Having snack... chips, dip, juice, little debbie cakes... Needless to say, they were hyper!

Finally, one with most of them looking.  The poor kids, there were only about 6 moms, all trying to get pictures.  They could hardly eat for all the "look here's" and smiles.

Gift time!

Lovin' it.

There was even one for Colin.  He was so thrilled.

The party really was a lot of fun.  The kids were wound up, but not over the top.  Colin had fun and was included, and that was nice.  Fun was had by all!

Until next time...

Christmas Baking

Hey y'all,

I did quite a bit of baking this year.  Michael invitied people from work over for a Christmas party, and I had plans to make cookie/ candy plates as gifts for a few people, so I knew I would need more than usual.  I enlisted some help (very willing help!) on a few of the batches.  I made sure to capture this experience!  They had so much fun helping, I didn't even mind the clean up!  However, I must say... they did a fabulous job!  They were very neat, and very helpful.  Oh, and I might note... the cookies were delicious!

Image
Molly's job was to roll the cookie balls into the colored sugar.

Image
She was very precise.

Image
Colin was watching the cookies bake in the oven.  "His" green cookies were in at this time.

Image
He was pretty excited about being able to help!

Image
Colin's job was to "smash" the cookies flat.

Image
He caught on quickly!! ;)

Image
Some of them got a bit too flat, but hey, some people like chewy cookies, some people like crisp ones.  He was just thinking of everyone. :)

Image
Molly got to help with the Buckeyes too.  I made quite a few of these because they are pretty popular even with those who don't really know what they are.  People asked if I was going to make the peanut butter balls.  I decided it was my duty to educate people on the great Buckeyes.

Image
She really was a huge help.  I could have been rolling balls for an hour!  She was very happy to help, so we both won.

I wish we could have shared some of the cookies with all of you!  I think we discovered a few new favorites this year as well as mantained several old favorites.

Until next time...

Target Pictures

Hey y'all,
The pictures at Target turned out fabulously this year!  I was so pleased, I could have bought them all!

Image
I jumped in for a few.  I am thrilled that I can have a picture with me in it every once in a while.  I just wish we could get Michael to agree to join us occasionally!

Image
This one is pretty in color too, but in the B&W... WOW!

Image
I love all the coat and hat pictures.  She looks old-timey elegant!

Doesn't he just look like the big time?

This is one I selected too.

Colin was trying to give Molly some sugar.  The photographer just couldn't quite catch it.  Cute though!

I also picked this one.

I picked this one too.  I love it!

It was so hard to buy only a few!

Early December

Hey y'all,

December has been a crazy month for us.  I can't believe we are nearing the end of it!  Here are a few pics from early December with other posts to follow shortly.  Enjoy!

All dressed up, ready to get pictures taken at Target.

Colin is so goofy!  He thought he was so funny putting on Molly's hat.  It was pretty funny!! ;)
