BrAcEs!!

Well i got braces!.!.!.! Thats pretty much all there is to say because its not very interesting information you know!

Rorie Ann's 3rd Birthday!

For the past few weeks the first words from Rorie each morning have been "is it my birthday today?" Last night she finally got to have her birthday party and this morning her first words were "is it my birthday today?". She did have a lot of fun on her birthday though. We invited Grandma & Grandpa Kinmont and of course Westley and Jim and Tiff were here with their kids as well. We made a cake and put little fairy's on it. She really loves fairy's right now. She was so excited when she opened the fairy house! She also received a book about lady bugs from Grandma and Grandpa Kinmont and a fairy doll from Westley. Rorie Ann is growing strong and her heart seems to be doing just fine despite the leakage in her heart. We went to her yearly check up just a few days before her birthday. The doctor was very pleased with everything and said that as things are now she will be able to do anything she wants to as far as sports or activities as she grows. Rorie says things everyday that make us laugh and where ever I take her there are always people who say she is the cutest thing they have ever seen, we totally agree of course!! Rorie has been participating in Sunshine Generation this year and has really enjoyed it. She is a really great performer and sings out with all her soul. She is also enjoying her Music Mind Games preschool class. I am teaching two different classes and she loves them both and asks me everyday if today is preschool class. She is very smart and already knows a lot about music theory!

Poor Toto

This morning the girls were watching "The Wizard of Oz". Rorie woke up a few minutes after they started to watch and came into our room. I asked her if she wanted to go down and watch the movie with the girls. This would be her first time to watch "The Wizard of Oz". I happened to mention the dog "Toto" and the Wicked Witch of the West but not with much detail. A few seconds later Rorie yelled in her best distressed girlie voice, "Toto come back". She looked at Kevin and I and said "the wicked witch swiped Toto". She covered her mouth with her hand in greater distress than before and said again "come back Toto". She got off the bed and ran out of the room. She didn't still hadn't gone downstairs to see the movie. She came back just a few seconds later and said "oh, Toto, you're back" while she hugged the imaginary dog in her hand. This same scene was repeated at least four or five times, each a little more dramatic than the one before. Kevin and I just looked at each other and laughed and laughed. This is just one example of the daily imaginations and dramatization's that go on in our home with Rorie Ann. What a sweetheart!
