New Years Resolutions

1. Do what makes me happy.
2. Don't worry about what other people think.
3. Try new things, take more risks.
4. Get back into yoga, pilates, and start running... in other words GET BACK IN SHAPE!
5. Take more care of my health and body.
6. Control my spending!
7. Try not to procrastinate ! Get things done.

Shopping for New Years

Today I went shopping for an outfit for a New Years party. Ended up buying 4 tops, 2 pairs of earrings, and a dress... so much for controlling myself.

NAKED2

So, since I have the NAKED2 I thought I'd do a bit of comparison between the first Naked palette and the second also and go into detail about the colors in NAKED2. Let me know if you would like to see swatches.

 

Naked: Colors: 

• Virgin (nude satin), Sin (champagne shimmer), Naked (buff matte), Sidecar (beige sparkle), Buck (brown matte), Half Baked (bronze), Smog (golden brown shimmer), Darkhorse (bronze-plum shimmer), Toasted (taupe-bronze), Hustle (mocha shimmer), Creep (near-black metallic), Gunmetal (dark grey metallic)

Naked2: Colors:

• Foxy (matte vanilla), Half Baked (bronze), Bootycall (nude satin- similar to virgin), Chopper (glitter peach), Tease (matte grey/purple), Snakebite (shimmer dark bronze), Suspect (shimmer taupe), Pistol (shimmer grey), Verve (silver), YDK ( shimmer bronze/champagne), Busted (dark red/brown), Blackout(matte black)

Personally, I think Naked2 is more for everyday light wearable colors and Naked is more for the evening wear, kind of smoky eye effect, if that makes sense. 
I cannot choose which I prefer because they are both wonderful. The only downside is the fallout, both do tend to have a bit of fallout but other than that it is great, the color payoff is very nice and there are a mix of matte, shimmer, and glitter ! What else can one girl want! 


NAKED2

Sunny Christmas

It was a sunny Christmas here in California. I woke up to sunshine and a beautiful light breeze, went to mass, and finally got home and opened gifts. Here are some: I'm happy to say that I received the NAKED2 and a beautiful shimmer powder from Dior (thanks big sis!)
