Come on May 13th

Im in the home stretch right now... 3 weeks left of school....
ahhhhh my short but really time consuming to-do list keeps replaying over and over again in my head!

I'm still waiting to be placed...
and still waiting for a new section to open up for that summer class...
I thought It would all be figured out by now.
My friend Allie got placed, and she is in all of her summer classes, AND she has her fall schedule ready to go with an apartment and everything.... how come I dont have any of those things!?!? not fair.

oh and my official college graduation date is May 14th, 2011.

Anxious

Still anxiously waiting for that last class i need to get more seats....
Anxious for that School Placement e-mail so I know where I'm going to be student teaching
Anxious to find a place to live next year

life is at a standstill STILL.
I am not used to it and am not fond of it. I like to plan ahead...

I will be walking the stage at UNT in 13 months,
and starting my first teaching job (hopefully)in 16 months.

Things should be figured out by May 14th...

my stressometer is off the charts.

on the bright side... I think I'll be getting Dean's list again this semester...

Things my kids say that I find hilarious

I actually wrote some down for once.

This all happened from 9:40-9:45am

while playing with my hair...

Lydia: "One time, I went to a beach... called Mexican, and the people were Mexican, and they spoke Mexican."

Me: "Morgan, go get me a pencil and paper so I can write that down."

Lydia: "That's lame, but whatever."

Once my hair was finished "getting done" by the 4 year old...

Lydia: "Ms. Megan it looks like you're ready for a wedding!"


And then randomly during nap time...

Alex: "Hey, have you ever been to Taco Beuno?"
Me: "yes....."
Alex: "Oh.... well, they have spoon forks."

I want to write more of these quotes down and make a book.... Im sure there already is one... and I would probably be the only one interested... haha

i could cry right now.

I have had a terrible stressful today.

Today was the day i was allowed to register for my summer classes. One class was already full before i even got a chance to register for it.. however I contacted the professor of that class and she got me in. Or so she says... I haven't gotten my final confirmation on that yet. The other class that I have left to take only had 2 sections offered.. and a total of 4 seats left between the two by the time i got to register today.

So registration started at approximately 7:00am. I got the class I needed and put it in my "shopping cart" at 6:55am. I watched the clock and once It hit 7:00 I clicked enroll. The computer says, "Processing.... Processing.... Processing..." for about 60 seconds. I am feeling confident that I got the class...

Keep in mind this is the absolute LAST class I have to take before student teaching.

then my computer says, "we're sorry this class has reached it's enrollment capacity."

okay okay okay... so i didn't get in it... I can email the teacher... so i do explaining my situation that Im starting my PDS in the Fall and I NEED this class to take it... and i go back to sleep. she responds to my e-mail at 8:16 telling me that there is nothing she can do about it, and just to keep checking for someone to drop the class... WHAT?!?!?! is there a chance Im not even going to get to take this class??? is this stupid class going to keep me an entire semester behind causing me to graduate in December of 2011? ! that is NOT acceptable.

The only thing I knew to do was make an advising appt. my appt. isnt until April 13th... then the girl said i could maybe talk to the department to see if they could help. I talked to someone for like 5 minutes.. really only giving her my information and stuff.. she asked for my phone number and said someone would have to call me back... no one ever called back.

THEN City Parc decides to offer me $499 a month if i renew my lease... that is a heck of a deal and my mom brought to my attention how much money we would be saving if I just renewed and got out of my lease in May or June.... She thought I should do it. I got excited to do it. but no... Cassie and Lisa already got their friend to sign a lease with city parc to take over my room. There is NO way I'm moving to a different apartment in the same complex... so I guess I'm back to the plan of moving to Frisco (or wherever student teaching takes me) with Caroline... It's not a bad thing.. i just kind of had my hopes up for a minute... and now their down again.

and to top it off.... I won't know where Im going to be student teaching until May 14th... if i even get to student teach then...




My life is at a standstill right now and I don't know what to do!!! I need to just get this college business over with!
