It’s late capitalism, and artists have nowhere to go.
Where’s left? Where can people discover new, risk-taking art? We can try our luck in a clickbait-optimised shitpocalypse (YouTube). Or a nightmare panopticon hellscape, where we use coy euphemisms like “unal1ved” so we don’t get banned (TikTok, Instagram).
We need a real human place for real human video art. So, we made one.

Back when I had an Instagram account, I had mastered the art of the #humblebrag. Life hack: boast about how great your life is, then include HASHTAG BLESSED or something, and attribute your good luck to being God’s favourite influencer.
Well, I’ve left all that behind me, now. All that remains is my humble website.

Status is out today! I like to think of it as the soundtrack to your digital detox.
Today, unclassifiable art (such as my weirdo sound) gets buried under ads and influencers, while Big Social oligarchs cosplay ecologically feckless cartoon villains. We are moving away from stats and clout, and towards a more sustainable culture.
What happens to us when billionaire-owned Big Social owns our politics, relationships… and all human art? Wonder no more: this album explains it all. Suck it, Cory Doctorow!

‘Data Ghost’ is out today! It’s a song about slipping through the cracks in the algorithm.
I made a nostalgic collage-style video for this. We are very chuffed to find has been premiered on The Line of Best Fit. Huge thanks to my manager Dwayne, LOBF music editor Sam & writer Camryn for this brilliant writeup. What really so much to me: they shared my Peertube link, supporting the decision to not upload it to YouTube.
