In case you're wondering...

I'm alive.

Spring break came and passed way too quickly. Arizona and Vegas treated me well.

Celine canceled her show and I cried.

I've had a weird thing with numbers going on lately- my 2nd lesson was on 2/22- my 5th lesson was on March 5. I told someone the time at 4:44 on March 4. Somebody stop me.

A family of mice made their home in my car engine and then died.
Officially the worst smell on the planet.

This semester has been the most intense yet.
I'll actually update my blog eventually.
Instagram has become my new more manageable priority.
(Easy, quick update- check.)

I'm running on wheat thins, green smoothies, and tootsie rolls.

I turned in the first version of my final masters project at 5:00 today!
I'm almost there... 7 weeks to go.

70 degree temperatures all week and HUNGER GAMES THIS FRIDAY!!!
(Plus half the people I know in DC are visiting NYC this weekend! Can't wait!)
Light at the end of the tunnel.

Katie made her first Old Navy purchase

Tom's

Ashley is my coworker and classmate, and we spend lots of time working and studying together each week. We decided one week to take a break and try the famous Seinfeld restaurant, Tom's. It's so close to Columbia that we had to check it off our list of "Touristy things to do in NYC."

What You Wish For

Amber, Emilie, R. L. Stine

Back in October Emilie had a work conference in NYC and came to stay for a couple nights. She works for the UN and they launched a new book, "What You Wish For" which has short stories written by famous authors (The proceeds go to charity). One of the authors was R. L. Stine, (the author of Goosebumps) I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a photo with such a famous author! Good thing I have a super cool friend with a super cool job.

Halloween Panini Boo-ffet.

My roommate Amber and I hosted a Panini "Boo-ffet" the night before Halloween.
The food was delicious and the company was great.

I think I'll go to Boston.

And see lots of my best friends. Including Natalie.

And Lindsay. (and some new friends)

(YSA Extraordinaire- I see you Natalie)

I went to Boston for a YSA Conference in October. It was amazing. The speakers were incredible, the fall weather was perfect and seeing so many of my friends was the best.

Image
It was the same weekend as the Head of the Charles. The classiest sport around.

 And Maryella.

And Heidi.

(Sorry the order of these pictures made this post a bit confusing, I'm still terrible with blogger!)

It was Boston, in the fall. It was a dream.

Oh, and there was a boat cruise on Saturday night. A fall boat cruise with dancing, food, and 300+ YSA's from all over the east coast. PARTY.

Thanks for letting us crash, Maryella!

Good News

It's winter break, and I FINALLY have time to breathe.... and update my blog!

Expect a lot of updates over the next week.

I spent most of the past three weeks in the library. Including Saturdays... the worst.

But, I survived and am happy to say that I only have one more semester to go.
