Swine Flu

So I was reading this article about Swine Flu, partially just because I read random stuff and partially because Will is positive hes going to get it (along with everyother sickness haha). I thought it was very interesting and worth the read. Heres the link.

And just for fun here is a conversation Will and I had the other day. Will," YOU HAVE NEVER READED OR WATCHED LORD OF THE RINGS?!" Me,"....no...." Will,"We have to watch it! I guess its a good thing though, because you will like them better now." Me,"Why do you say that?" Will,"Because your a nerd now." (Ok....just because he got me to play nerdy games like World of Warcraft....that doesnt mean Im a nerd!....or maybe it does haha.)

So last weekend Will and I took the very long drive down to St.George to visit my parents and see their new home. Which I just realized I didnt even get any pictures of there new house but it is so beautiful! Many of my other siblings went down as well so it was a very fun get together. One day we desided to go visit Fiesta Fun which most of my pictures of well, all of them except for a few pictures of my very missed little niece Taylor ha.ImageWe really enjoyed racing eachother around on the Go Karts. Ha Will was a bit cramned in his go kart, thats what he gets for being so tall.Image

Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake Bars

Yes.....they taste as good as they sound! I found this recipe on the Pillsbury website and it is awesome and extremly easy!

Image
1 Package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 roll (16.5 oz) refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (must be the roll not the preshaped cookies)

Steps

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and egg until smooth.

2. In 9-or 8-inch square pan, break up half of cookie dough. Press dough evenly in bottom of pan to form crust. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough. Crumble and sprinkle remaining half of dough over cream cheese mixture.

3. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch. Cool 30 minutes. Regrigerate at least 2 hours or until chilled (You must let them chill in the fridge, they taste so much better if you wait!)

4. Cut into bars and ENJOY!

If only we had known that that was the least of the problems we would encounter on this journey. Then we went out side to discover....

Our car broke down....haha this is the only picture I could sneek in because Will wasnt very happy at the time...and promptly told me that he did not want to remember this part of our trip.
