We certainly were not expecting this.
Tuesday we sat out here, under the umbrella in spring like weather.
Can you even see the umbrella under all that snow?
It continued to snow throughout the day and into the night.
And it snowed and snowed.....
Thankfully, we were at home, warm and cozy.
Many others were caught off guard.
Our little town even made World News Tonight with Diane Sawyer!
Our fifteen minutes of fame.
And then....this began to happen.
I could hear branches snapping.
Big branches.
And today it looked like this.
Clear blue skies.
Snow covered trees.
The giant stand of eucalyptus trees had me a little worried.
They were leaning a little too close to the house.
The pool became a reflecting pond.
Freida walked gingerly...I'm not so sure she liked the snow.
The mister had his work cut out for him.
Snap, crackle, pop means pull out the chainsaw.
Life is like a box of chocolates...
