Getting ready for Lillian's 3rd birthday party this weekend! When I asked her what kind of party she wanted, she said a rollercoaster party. Huh? I continued asking her until I got an answer I like, which ended up being Strawberry Shortcake:) She loves the little dvds so it made since she would pick that. THEN I remembered something!!!!!

Why my kids ROCK! Part 2

Lillian Rae, You ROCK! Why?

1) You just sorted and folded 3 loads of laundry. You're my hero.
2) I had surgery over a month ago and you still ask me everyday if my belly button is better:)
3) You are very...cough...independent. This will take you far in life my child.
4) You are quite the joker. I love laughing You at you and with you everyday!
5) You can sing "You belong with me" like no other.
6) You have the sweetest prayer voice.
7) You are an awesome little sister. I love your adoration for Hannah. I hope ya'll stay the bestest of friends.
8) That laugh. Oh me. It, well, ROCKS!
9) You are so caring. You are right there if anyone is sad and needs a hug.
10) You are my favorite playmate. I'm so glad we get to hang out together everyday!

Why my kids ROCK! Part 1

Hannah...you rock, girlfriend! Why?
1) You thank me for the lunch I make for you every afternoon when I pick you up from school.
2) You ask me how I slept, every single morning, without fail.
3) You totally rock the glasses and snaggle tooth!
4) You TALK about Jesus, everyday...every single day, my child. I wish I could say that about most adults!
5) You write the most awesome letter S's. NO joke, folks. I only wish I could write mine so cool:)
6) Your long princess hair is super pretty. I'm jealous.
7) You are so, so kind. To everyone. You're little heart is HUGE!
8) You sing along with every song you hear...even if you don't know it:)
9) You can whistle better than I can. Seriously.
10) You're my best little friend in the whole wide world.

Loof Toof

After a weeeee bit of drama, Hannah lost her first tooth Wednesday night. She has had a loose tooth for 2 months now...that one is still in place, holding on strong. This one was encouraged along a bit by a shoelace game with Lillian last week. Not pretty. But THIS is!

I'm not going to touch on the elephant in the room. I will choose to believe that no one will hold my blogging hiatus against me and will continue to love me and disorganization anyways:)


Our summer was super and super short. Can you believe how fast it went by! It seemed like I was finally getting into the groove of having Hannah at home and then poof, it was time for school to start again!

I don't even know how to begin playing catch up! I'll just give you a quick 10 point run down:

1) Lillian is a crack up. She makes me laugh and she makes herself laugh. A lot. I love her little phrases she has created on her on. Like "pooped up". Is the grass pooped up? I would give other examples, but they're gross. Just giggle a little. It's funny.

2) We went to HHI for a week in July...with babysitters! Yes, be very jealous:) We all had a great time!

3) I turned 30...and had a Twilight Party:)

4) Speaking of, I went to the Ultimate Twilight Fan Event on June 29th with my Amy...you know you're jealous!

5) We have a membership to the zoo, so we took advantage of that a few times. Looking forward to using it even more when it cools off a bit!

6) Hannah has made a ton of progress with her reading and writing. She's quite proud of herself!

7) Hannah started the First Grade at Friendship Christian School!

8) Hannah turned 6 and had her very first sleepover!

9) I had surgery to fix my umbilical hernias. Ouchy.

10) I am going to keep up with my blog!!! YAY ME!

Yes...it's been forever!

I's been over 2 months. I have to say that it has been 2 very long months for me personally, including a jaw injury and just some abnormal craziness around the Casey house hold. I know you're wanting Easter Pics. Me too. I did something to our memory card...not sure what, but we can't get pics off of it. Hubster is super busy with work, so maybe he'll help me out with those soon;0)

I will say that I have been totally obsessed with music during these 2 months. Not for any reason in particular. I've always loved music, it's a huge part of who I am but I've never really ventured much outside of the "radio". After some exploring, I have some new faves!!!

Brandi Carlisle. How I LOVE HER!!!!! This is my fave, but if you have time, check out her cover of Bryan Adams, Heaven.



This is my go to song. Love, love, love it. I've heard a few times over the years, but now I'm hooked!



Bon Iver. I was introduced to Bon Iver via "New Moon", but after some exploring around, I found that I LOVE almost everything they do!!! What do you think? Kind of different, but I'm a bit over most of the stuff on the radio these days anyways.

Things that make me go "awwwwww"
