60th Anniversary.
I really feel bad that I haven't posted in a while. If anyone out there is still looking at this thing... way to stick with it! Been a little... we've been in our house 2.5 weeks and when both children are napping at the same time (if it happens) I'm unpacking boxes. Hopefully they will be all unpacked soon and I can do all the posts that I have been wanting to do since February. Man, having #2 and moving (twice) all within 9 weeks... I would N-O-T recommend it.
This past weekend we went to College Station for my grandparents 60th anniversary celebration. It was a quick weekend but fun to see everyone. I love to watch my family with my children. It makes me so happy to see how much they are loved. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend. NO words... just pictures... I'm too tired.
Just kidding blogger is being cranky and not letting me add pictures right now. I'm sure you will all be waiting in suspense until they are added! It may be a while...

Cinderella and her Prince..
I just had to add this! Addison is very into Disney movies right now. She loves to dance and since the Cinderella song. In case you are wondering what she is saying... "So this is wuv, hmmm, hmmm, hmmm" over and over.
Right after this video she got distracted by the Kleenexes. She blew her nose and then said "Okay Prince I'm ready!" and they went back to dancing. She also will not put her hand anywhere but your hip. If you try to move i!

Real Quick...
This is going to be quick... I need to go to bed, but at least now I won't feel guilty for it being a month since I updated. Ooops! Here is a quick run down of what is going on with the Collier's:

- We sold our house. We haven't found another one so we are currently residing in the upstairs of Christopher's parents house.
- Addison potty trained herself... No really! About a week before Trent was born she decided he wanted to wear panties. I'm not brave like my parents (who brought her to the hospital in panties) so if we are going anywhere we are in pull-ups, but she stays dry all day even through her naps. She has started waking up in the middle of the night to potty too and also LOVES to poop in the potty. Friday she woke up to poop and I went in the bathroom and she said "Mom, I poop, it looks like ice cream!!"
- There's the other thing. I am now "Mom" no more Mommy. She did that she same week she decided to potty train herself. I guess she decided she needed to grow up and FAST...
- Trent is allergic to milk just like Addison was. I believe he's a little more sensitive than abc so I have to be even more careful about what I eat or else we all pay! At least this time I learned from my mistakes and stopped dairy about month before he was born just in case, and I'm glad I did!
- Addison LOVES her brother. She'll say it over and over. If he cries she stops and says "uh oh, I need to go check on my baby brother."
- Trent loves outside. I'm glad its warm and it's no big deal to go outside.
- He also loves the Baby Born (or whatever it's called). He spends a lot of his days strapped to my front so I can move around the house and follow abc.
- I've decided that the key to a quick recovery from a c-section is to NOT take it easy... I didn't really have a choice since we moved when I was 3 weeks post op. and sometimes didn't have a choice not to lift that box or pick up abc. I shouldn't be picking her up now but tonight I carried her up the stairs to put her in bed.
- ABC now has her paci again. Before Trent came she only had it in her bed which was working great because you never had to worry about taking it anywhere or remembering where it was, it was always in her bed. Well, the day she walked around the living room with Trent's paci in her mouth I had a choice to make, she could have her paci or she would have his paci, she I chose hers! She has it all the time. We'll work on that again later. I was sure that when he came something was going to give... I'm glad it was the paci since she continued to potty train herself!
- Oh, Trent loves his paci too... great... here we go again!
- Lastly, I'm tired. A LOT! I'm not sure how everyone with more than one child finds the time to blog or do anything on the computer. I'm sure one day I'll catch up, but right now when it comes down to it I always choose sleep over the computer!
- I have several posts that I need to do about things before Trent arrived. I'll get those sometime...
For now... Here are a few recent pictures. Last Tuesday when abc went to ladies class with Kim Trent and I had a little photo shoot. The light in the living room is AWESOME in the mornings and makes great photo ops!

He's Here!
Trent Russell Collier
March 2, 2010 (3.2.10!!)
9:56 am
7 lbs 4.8 oz.
19 inches long
Here are a few pictures from yesterday and today. The camera that had all the O.R. pictures and the ones Chris took in the nursery are on a camera he took home, so you'll have to wait to see those later!
He came out with a head FULL of black hair! I think he looks just like Addison's baby pictures, besides all the hair. I can't wait to get home and compare the pictures!

Then Pappy

I gave Melissa the good camera and put her in charge of taking pictures of Trent and Chris in the nursery! She took some GREAT pictures and she decided if she had a camera and lens like mine she would be obsessed with taking pictures too. Thanks Mel, you did an AWESOME job!
Trent holding Christopher's hand

Chris texting some of our friends we were "done." Amy then fired him from the updating with text job considering that's all he said, no specifics about weight and no pictures... such a boy to not care about those types of things!

LOVE these pictures Melissa took.

Katie Jo let Addison come in the nursery to see "baby Trent."

I wonder what was going through his head...

ABC wanted to hold baby Trent. I have a picture of the four of us, but it's on the other camera!

Checking out my IV. She was VERY concerned about my "shot," why I was in bed and why my legs didn't work.

Addison LOVES to help Trent with his paci.

Wanting to hold him with Honey.

Brushing his hair today.

Not too sure what she was trying to do here, but she was excited.

Umm... I wonder what she was thinking. Trent kept his eyes open most of the time she was messing with him. Probably a good idea when she makes this face!!

Better late than NEVER!!
I said I needed to get several blogs complete before Trent gets here... Well, now I have 2 DAYS... My c-section is scheduled for Tuesday morning. I can't believe it's already here. Any way... Here is our christmas pictures (mainly just ABC's!)
She got a green four wheeler from Nonna and Grandad. She loved it! Acutally, the first thing she said when she saw it was "I want a pink one!" We convinced her it was okay that it was green!

She then had to open the majority of her remaining presents ON her four wheeler!

There's not too many things better than your own Wonderpets Fly Boat!

I took this picture of Addison running in the barn and it made me think of another picture I had taken.

This one... I always wonder why her lips are so chaped after she plays at school. I guess she comes by that tongue out naturally!

BEfore Christmas we went to Mallory's birthday party. WE made ginger bread houses! Addison loved it! AS you can see, she mostly loved the "decorating!"

We were in College Station for Christmas. It was fun, and we missed a tornando so that was good. The best part for Addison was, of course, riding the horses!

Bessy trying to teach her how to turn. She comes by her love of horses naturally, from my dad and younger sister, and she also gets her intensness with horses from them as well. Look at that face!

WHOA!

WHOA!
Mary Beth left her on the horse by herself. She didn't like it too much.

She eventually came around to it though!

At the end of the ride she was very sad to be getting off of Totty. (My dad told her Totty was "her horse" so she referes to her as "my horse Totty!")

New favorite picture of her and my dad. She was so sad to be leaving the barn!

Can't imagine why she loves horses so much... This is her choice of reading material while she is at Honey and Pappy's house, well... this and the Quarter Horse Journal.
She got this horse from my parents for Christas. She has to sleep with it every night. It was at one time named Okie, just like all of her horses. She then changed it's name to spot and it has stuck ever since. She sleeps with it every night, amoung her other 4 horses, and it often takes car rides with us.
