Living Planet Aquarium

A few weeks ago we took Mack to the Aquarium. It was really fun! Ryan and I had never been there and we were pleasantly surprised. Mack wanted to jump in and swim with the ray's. He got himself and me all wet.

Bunny Cake

I am the secretary for the Young Women presidency in our ward and the week before easter we did a spaghetti dinner and cake auction fund raiser. I made this cute bunny cake to auction off. Someone bought it for $25. Whooohoo! The best money making cake sold for I believe $125. It was a cake with the BYU logo on it made out of fondant. It was a lot of fun and we made a lot of money to help pay for our camps and activities.

Vegas Baby

In April we went down to Vegas for Ryan's Security Conference. Grandpa and Grandma Morrison met us down there for a few days too. It was a lot of fun. I think Mack's favorite part was going swimming. He had a blast!

I was doing the dishes one morning and turned to find little monkey Mack hanging out in the dish washer.

Christmas Letter

I thought about sending out Christmas cards this year. When I suggested to Ryan that we get a family picture taken his response was "Whhhyyy? What did I do wrong???? Ryan looooves getting his picture taken! Oh well maybe next year!

Since the picture card didn't happen I decided to write a little bit about what we've been up to this year. Mack was born June 3 and has been a such a joy to have around. He is so happy and smiley all the time. He is almost 7 months old. He is sitting up on his own and loves to put everything in his mouth. Including mommy's hair and daddy's glasses. His favorite thing to play with is empty water bottles. He loves to eat solids most of the time. His favorite thing to eat are the sweet potato puffs, he gets really excited and opens his mouth really wide for those. He also loves to drink water. He won't take a bottle or sippy cup so he drinks out of a regular plastic cup. We love him to pieces!

Ryan was called to be on the Stake High Counsel which keeps him pretty busy. He has enjoyed getting to know more people in our stake and being taught by the Stake Presidency. We have been blessed with lots of steady work this year. When Ryan's not working or doing high counsel stuff we try to spend as much time together as we can, so naturally we took Mack to Hawaii in September! It was a blast and we did a lot of new things.

I love staying home with Mack and helping Ryan do some of his office work. I am the Secretary for the Young Women Presidency in our ward and I love it! All of the girls love Mack and he is quite the flirt. We hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
