Drew Bradley

Our sweet baby Drew is 4 weeks old! I'm not sure how time flew so fast but we are so glad he's here and we love him so much!!
My water broke in the middle of the night and I hadn't been having any contractions or anything so it made for a long labor. Finally after 17 hours of labor at 8:24 pm on July 18, 2014 our sweet baby boy was born.

So relieved he was finally here!

We were excited for our kids to come meet their brother. Both of them were super shy at first. Colton at first wanted nothing to do with him and just wanted to run crazy and he did just that. Then he decided he wanted to hold the baby. Karlee on the other hand LOVED her baby brother. She wanted to hold him and not let anyone else have a turn.

Gender Party!

So there was this one time that we weren't going to find out what we were going to have. I had finally convinced Matt that it would be fun to not know. He even told people that we weren't finding out. Then he had a change of heart. So instead he planned (with major help from his assistant at work and my sisters) a gender reveal party. To be honest I've never really wanted to do one, mostly because they are super trendy and such but Matt had to do something if he was going to find out so this is what we decided on. The only thing was I did not want to be a part of the planning in anyway. He (they) did a really good job and it was a lot of fun.

Halloween...better late than never I suppose

Halloween Carnival

Karlee wanted to be a ballerina until I told her she had to have her hair in a bun then changed her mind. So she was Aurora instead.

Colton loved wearing his costume. He wanted all of it on all day. He loved it and loved all the candy.

We went trick-or-treating at Matt's work. They scored lots of candy. Colton just wanted to eat all of it as soon as someone gave it to him.

Surprise Party

Where has the time gone.....the eve of Karlee's birthday we closed on our house and we moved into our house!! But the weeks before her birthday she told me that she wanted a surprise birthday party. I wasn't sure how I would do this because she has no friends here yet and we were currently bouncing around from one of my sisters houses to the next every few days. But the thought occurred to me why don't I do it at one of my sisters houses with her girls cousins (and little boys who were not trustworthy to be left at another sisters house with the older boys) the week before her bday. My sisters were so nice to help me out and help me plan it pretty much the night before and day of. It was a surprise for everyone. It worked out perfectly and she was so surprised and so happy...except she said mom I want to do this again but on my real birthday. (you can't win every time I guess) We did make-up, nails, and had a fashion show.
