January 2013!

January was a slow month, nice and slow!

 

On New Years Day, we went sledding with my family at our favorite hill!

 

 

Drew learned to fly....

 

This picture melts my heart!

Sophie fell off the chair and was sad, so Drew kept coming over and giving her kisses.

I really hope that these two will stay friends and love eachother forever!

I know there will be times when they dont like eachother, but I always want them close :)

And the girls had crazy hair day at school....

 



Well there's January for ya! Not too productive, but now life gets busy again! "sigh"

December

December was full of busyness and fun!

The kids all got to see Santa and get a fun pic with him...

 

Drew & Sophie were a little bit unsure, heck, Sophie had a death grip on me so I had to sit in the pic with her....

 

My friend Jamie Blackwell & I decided to be brave and head to Thanksgiving point with us and all the kids (9 of them) while Matt and Eric went to a Jazz game.

The kids all had fun being piled in the back of the car while we drove through the lights...

 

 

 

 

My girls had their Christmas Dance Recital...

They did AMAZING, as always, you know... they take after me :)

 

Matt took the girls to our hill for a little sledding....

 

 

We went and saw the Christmas Lane in Taylorsville.

They have houses in a circle all decorated and each house has a sign with part of " The Night before Christmas" very cute and fun!

 

We headed downtown with the Hood clan.....

Saw the Maceys Christmas candy windows....

 

Went on a carriage ride!!!

 

 

And of course walked around the beautiful temple square!

 

We made some cookies for Santa!!!

 

Santa's elf's brought some new jammies for the kids!

 

We had an AWESOME Christmas morning....

I think the kids were all very happy!

On New Years Eve, we headed over to the Blackwell's house and had a night full of food, games, and fun!

We all made it to midnight and watched the ball drop....

2013 Here we come!!

November

So in November, Matt took Hannah to a Utah Football game for a little Daddy/ Daughter time...

 

 

 Alexa and I made a snowman....

 

Matt got the Christmas Lights up on the house without falling! Yeah! Another safe year!

The week before Thanksgiving, we got our Christmas tree up and decorated to start getting ready for the holidays...



 

 

October

October...

 

We started off October with one of my favorite things! Seeing the witches at Gardner Village....

 They even got a picture with some REAL witches wandering around!

And our yearly tradition of picking pumpkins with some of my favorite people! As Jamie said..We love us some Dabo's!

 

My Mom and Dad took the twins so we could take the girls to the corn maze. They loved it... Makenna, Hannah, and I were hiding and scared Matt and Alexa! haha... what fun! 

We made us some sugar cookies! This year I actually made the dough from scratch! Sometimes I get lazy and just buy some cookies at the store. But this year, I did it!!

We made caramel apples and delivered goodies for the phantom! 

 

I cut my hair!!! Ahhh, it was 11 inches off, but I love it.. it's just me!!

 

Matt and I went to a Halloween Party at our friends the Newbold's. We went as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell! Everyone got a good laugh out of Matt's tights!

Had a Halloween party with all the cousins on my side of the family....

 Had some Airplane rides, courtesy of Dad!

And Finally Halloween!! The school did a Halloween Parade this year!

Makenna was an 80's rock star...

Hannah was a 50's poodle girl....

 And Alexa was a 20's flapper...

 Drew was a Utah Football Player and Sophie was a Utah Cheerleader.

After Trick-or-Treating we met back at our neighbors, The Blackwells. All the kids dumped out their candy and started sorting! I think they got enough! 

 

Well there you have it... It took me long enough, but I have caught up on all my blogging! I'll try and keep up this time!
