We are so excited to announce that Adelyn Gracie Duerden was born on Thursday, November 12th at 11:21pm. She was 6 lbs 3 oz and 19.5 inches long. The delivery went so well, and she has been a wonderful baby. Michael and I both thought she would look just like Ellie because of the ultrasound pictures, but she definitely has her own little look. Another surprise is her full head of dark, wavy hair. We can't wait for her to meet all her wonderful family and friends!

New Ultrasound Pictures

We had another ultrasound today, and I wanted to share the pictures. I've never had an ultrasound after 20 weeks before. You can definitely see more detail now. It's also fun to see the baby fill up all the empty space in there! This baby girl has the cutest little face and her profile looks just like Ellie! We are so happy that she is healthy and growing well. We can't wait to meet her in November!

The Car is out of the Paint Shop!

I thought I would post some pictures of Michael's "other baby"! He has been working on a complete restoration of a 1970 Corvette for over a year now. After 4 plus months he finally got the car back from the Paint Shop last week and has been working on it every spare minute that he has. I'm so proud of him for his ambition and hard work. It has been a really big project! He feels a little stressed, but I know that all his hard work and dedication will pay off soon. The goal is to have it finished and ready to sell in October. Wish him luck!

Hawaii Trip

Ellie was happy to get back to the beach! As you can see from the pictures, she loves the sand and the water. What a cute little beach bum!

Hawaii Trip

Ellie and I went to visit my mom in Hawaii last month. We had a great time hanging out with my incredible mom and sisters. It was the most relaxing trip I've ever been on. We really missed Michael though and can't wait to go back with him in October.

Ellie's first trip to the zoo

So much has happened since I posted last, but I wanted to start with the most recent event. Michael and I took Ellie to the zoo a couple days ago. She absolutely loved it! She kept saying "more aminals" as we walked from exhibit to exhibit. Her favorites were the monkeys, the giraffes, and the elephants. I think we will be visiting the zoo again soon because Ellie can't stop talking about it.

I finally stopped procrastinating!

I've wanted to start a blog for a long time, but I've never taken the time to actually do it. I have loved looking at all your pictures, reading about what is new and exciting in your lives, and just staying in touch. I'm excited to finally be joining the bloggers!
