July

July was busy but I don't have much to show for it. 4th of July parade, weddings that we went to and weddings I took pictures at. The Armatage reunion is the only place I have pictures of the kids we went to a town an hour away to camp and the kids highlight was swimming. Phil tore his knee again so he couldn't go golfing. We were near a peacock farm, Audriana really liked them and would sneak crackers to go feed the things.

Jordan's Sonic Party

Jordan turned 6 in June. He loves being 6! As a 6 year old Jordan is

• reading at a level higher than he should be.


• He's really good at mathmatics, ask him some adding problems he likes it. He especially likes to count money when we had our yard sale he was helping an older kid around nine or ten count his money because he didn't know what he had. He's obsessed. He pulls his bank out and counts all of his money two or three times a week and then counts the other kids.


• He's a saver with his money too. He's got a lot of it saved in his bank. He keeps every paper he brings home from school.


• He remembers everything, I think that's why he does so well in school. He does really well on his spelling test, he has to learn words like between, teenager, important, invitation, opposite, exercise, understand, umbrella, ostrich, etc. And he's spelled all of those right so far on the tests, well we won't know about between and teenager until tomorrow but he gets them right when we study.

For his birthday we gave him an iPod touch and money for games to download, he's been begging me for one forever. Of course the day before his birthday a kid at the Peyt's t-ball game showed him his ds and for a second he changed his mind... but he loves it. He plays it everyday. I think everyday he comes to me and shows me a new game that he wants to download. Thank goodness for free apps!

He also got a pair of sketchers, which he asked for. They are so hard to get on. I will never buy shoes without him again so no more presents with shoes in them.

For his birthday we had a Sonic party. We played pin the tail on Tails, which I didn't take a picture of since I was too busy I even drew that thing too.

Catch the "Sonic rings" or donuts on a string, Jordan wanted to play that one. I was going to do an obstacle course but skipped it and just let them have the slip and slide most of it.

We ate cupcakes and Jordan opened his friends presents. He loved them all, thanks to all who gave them to him.

June

Here's my attempt to catch up starting where I stopped. June.

Audriana and dance got along really good. She loved her June class and her teacher. She was sad it ended and kept asking when her dance class was. She dances a lot.

T-ball was still going when I left off, to recap: Peyton was on a seperate team than Jordan for age groups and on different days, so we had to go 4 times a week instead of 2. It was fun, but 4 days of t-ball for a month gets to you and at the end of the month it did end. I have a few more videos of t-ball on the iPhone, maybe someday I will share.

Finally color

I've been wanting to paint a wall blue probably since we moved in 3 years ago. But I wasn't ever sure what shade to go with. As you can see I was testing out a few before I went for it. I need to get it finished and fixed if no one notices I won't point it out where though. (No the spot by the pictures, that's the sun).

Father's Day

I got this idea from another blog, which I will have to look up later if anyone wants to know. I didn't have time to make my own printables so I used theres. Obviously since he doesn't smoke, fish, or ride mortocycles, those were on the unseen bottles.

Of course the kids helped too.

More Soccer

As I am doing Jordan's t-ball team pictures I realized I never posted soccer pictures. Jordan loved having dad as his coach. They loved spending time together and can't wait for the next season.

T-ball Hitting Videos

I've been lazy and not bringing my camera/video camera to the games, so I have been using the phone and that's why they aren't very good quality, sorry! This is the same video of Jordan I posted yesterday on facebook, but it's a different video of Peyton from today. I am going to try next week to do Audriana's, but with the one way window it makes it really bad so we'll see what I get.

Family Pictures Spring 2011

While we were in California we took a few pictures on the beach. Unfortunatly the sun was totally against us and we couldn't help it or go at a different time to fix it. They look bad blown up because of our squinty eyes sadly so I did another set when we got home. Check them out and leave me a comment which ones you like so I know what to hang up that is if you haven't voted on facebook, thanks for those that have already! You can still vote for the beach ones if you like them better, but I won't choose that as our main one.

I also can't decided on which kid picture, mostly Jordan if you want to have an input ;).
