Pine Wood Derby

Kadence had the Pine Wood Derby this week and he came in first place at the church event. So that qualified him to go to "regionals" which was at the High School in VB! We went and it was so ridiculous! There were mothers there complaining that kids were illegally messing with their cars after they were checked in!! Come on!!! It's a stinkin car race! Anywho, while it was not my cup of tea he had an OK time! He didn't place, but hey we can't win them all!!! Here are a few pictures. Yes, he is growing his hair out!! No, I am not crazy about it, but what can you do???

Meet Slinky!!!

So this is our NEW dog, Slinky!!! Isn't he the cutest thing? The boys have been bugging us for quite a while about getting an animal. They almost had me talked into a rabbit and I quickly changed my mind just in time for that one. So we ended up with this adorable miniature weenie dog! He is so cute!! We are having tons of fun with him and potty training is going awesome so far!! Thank goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Furniture

Ok! So, I am so excited about my NEW furniture! The reason this is SO wonderful is that Matt and I have NEVER had new furniture! That's right ladies and gentleman, NEVER! So now we have this wonderful living room and bedroom set. I am so excited. I have a comfy bed that I don't want to get out of in the morning and a chair that I don't want to get out of in the evening! :o)
