Stage 2: Taking a Break

Stage 3: Back to work

Colby cooking. It's no wonder he has a Kitchen on his Santa wishlist.
(for the record: none of these kitchen items were being used by me. Sometimes Colby is my helper but this time he ran with it on his own)

It's important to know how he makes things happen:
1) relocate stool from bathroom to kitchen (bypassing office with Mom to surely shut down such opportunity ~ Yes, I did stop him once and his response was to smile, put his ear to his shoulder and say "Otay." He walks the stool back to the bathroom)
2) Try again. Mom's surely to be distracted now. (Task accomplished)
3) Place stool below open drawer
4) Climb into drawer where ample supplies are available and kitchen surface is preped.
oh and .... 5) don't forget to call in your assistant.

Will is afforded the opportunity to make his own PB & J sandwich.
A proud moment. Need a little bread with that Jam though.

Surprise! Twins jumping up from the other side of the raised eating bar.
Yes, another leveraging attempt. I think, this time they used a rubbermaid storage bin.

In some households this behaviour is peculiar and unappreciated.
For us, it's a calm day :o)
What happened to my anal rententiveness?

An amazing talent founded on a few moments alone with Mom's wallet

A close-up

And just when you think that's all Quinten has in him, he stands up to walk away with his loot.

Time Out for Quinten = envokes Colby's desire to keep him from being bored (thus, providing some light reading).

Yes, that's Colby having climbed the pantry as he knows Mom stores all the good stuff higher.
And due to the sheer embarassment of the 'look of the pantry' I've also provided a picture of it on a good day. (Just so you know I haven't let everything 'go'.
Mom's finally learned a few tricks of her own. Nothing a little packing tape can't cure.
Fortunately/unfortunately Colby doesn't seem too deflated by his predicament.

Will with the camera. This is the only opportunity I have to display that I am acutally present in the boys day-to-day activities.
And love this picture because it's taken by Precious Will and I'm holding my Double Blessing.
