Done, Done & Done.

Here's the chocolate update:
10 kgs of Chocolate and associated fondant completed.
With the help of a few friends. Some pictured here and others not ...ImageImageImageImageThe finished result : It's not perfect but we're creating a work in progress.Image

There were many more festivities to take participate in. This is where Sadie was speaking enthusiastically to her friends saying, "That's my brothers!" How cool is that?! To have so many rooting for you.
Image Giving it her best show.
Image

Through all these festivities there is always time to tray a new food. I don't believe he liked it.

Logan set Chase on the sofa. Moved to the other side of the room and snapped a picture with my zoom lens. It's all fun and games until....
Image He starts to move. Logan heard me chirping in his ear to get back over to Chase.
Image We had a visit with Santa at three different events this season. Sadie was VERY nervous to sit with Santa at the first event. This is the second and I could tell she had taken the time to gain the courage necessary.

Image
Logan and Santa's conversation went something like this:

Santa, "What would yo like this year?"

Logan, "But I've been Naughty"

Santa, "Okay, What would you like next year?"
Good come back Santa.
Image
In order to have all siblings in attendance, Logan raced over from basketball. Hence his more casual attire.

Image We thought he should play a little Santa himself.

Image Time for Lights Out!
Image Quinten listened and was found fast asleep like this. Yes, that's a blanket tied around his neck like a scarf.
Image
"Hey Boys, you know how Mom stays up late to get things done? Did you know I like to stay up late and hide behind the couch? Well, I hid and got this!"

Bring on the Season of Giving!

Homemade chocolates X 100.
I have accumulated:
a triple batch of mint
a double of peanut butter
a single of almond
a double of milk chocolate truffle
a 1.5 batch of white chocolate truffle
and a double of cream cheese. Now I just need to make the carmel for turtles.
All these flavors just need to be dipped. Wish me luck.
Image
The only way I can shop is through my computer. The result: A stack of gift wrapping waiting inside these cardboard boxes.
Image
A view of the shoes hiding the background :)

Just something I saw in the Costco parking lot. No big deal. Not a gift I plan on giving, nor receiving.Image My little man was sick today. He slept best sitting up. I didn't get anything done by way of Christmas prep because I wanted to care for my little guy. Until tomorrow.

November Activities

You never know what you're going to get hanging with 6 kids 10 and under. Here's some of Novemeber. Some kid sponsered entertainment...and some from the Parents.

Logan asked if he could hold Chase. The next moment I turned around Chase had been abandoned on the end of the sofa surrounded by a mountain of pillows. For security. I found it rather humorous.Image Chase finds it funny to do a round of push - ups. He bounces up and down so fast that he starts to giggle.
ImageIf we pull his knees up then he finds fun in rocking back and forth. This may be the start of something. Image I just really love this little guy. He sees me enter a room and looks at me like I am the centre of his universe. He gives me the look of truly unconditional love. I can't think of a better feeling. Being a celebrity to the people that matter. On this particular evening he kept looking over his shoulder to catch my eye. And he did.
Image
And then he returned to watching some X-Factor with his Dad. TV head!Image Logan's goal is to build a rink in the back yard this winter. So he got right to work after the first snowfall.
ImageAnd so did Will. Or so he says.
Um, yah. You Know? Will Style.Image I bought spray in conditional at the health food store. I'm gathering there's something in it that Sadie reacts to. On this particular day, Sadie decided to condition her own hair. I think she missed and hit her eye a couple times.
Image Chase started eating food. Real food! This is the start of a long journey of flavors ahead of him. What I want to remember is how upset he became when he had to wait between spoonfuls.
Image Chase misses a few naps during the week. As a result, sometimes he can't even make it to bed.
ImageRyan and I attended a car auction. It was fun previewing all the cars beforehand. It was thoroughly entertaining. This is the truck from a coal miner. It's a 2010 if I remember correctly. Man, can they throw grunge and damage in a short period of time.
Image This is the interior. But even the exterior was comprised of a collection of pick-your-part pieces. I was humored by the truck's multicolors from replacement doors and fenders.
ImageWho knew? Ryan being a rookie, would walk away with a beefy suburban. This is the unit we plan to tow our trailer in the summer.
Image I decorated an event in a gorgeous house. If I can't own them, I may as well visit them :)
Image We might not have a flashy house but we have a great friends who LOVE our smoothies.
Image And we can build a mean monster made of Playdough.
ImageWho self destructs at the flash of a camera.ImageQuinten's creation.ImageAnd Sadie's?
This girl has the funniest comments.
The other day she gave the boys trouble and said, "Stop it boys! Stop teasing like my Grampa!"
OR
"Mom, can I jump on Chase to squish the spit up out of him?"
OR
"Oh, Mom, I'm sorry, I almost stepped on Chase, but I didn't because he's still fat."
OR
when I'm moving inventory from one location to another I often go out to my parents to load the cargo trailer. The other day we left without the trailer and Sadie said, "Mom! I thought you were going to hang the trailer on?"
Image
Colby and Quinten asked me to photograph them for a poster. Probably one with the theme of ultimate destruction.Image CrAzY HaIr DaY!!

Image AND the Grand Finale to November! Something that would call for half a cake. What do you think that could possibly be?
Image The Little Man is Half a Year of course. Everyone needs a reason to celebrate and this was ours. Happy Half Birthday Little Buddy.
