Brother dearest.

At the age of twenty one, he is still studying and never had a part time job for longer than half a year.
He had only worked for less than five part time jobs.
He smokes, using my father's money to pay for it.
He breaks into my father's bag to get his bank account book.
He steals money from my parents.
His girlfriend is a better person than him.
He is a hypocrite, acting like a gentleman to my mother in front of his girlfriend.
He mops the floor once, and says that he has done a lot of work already.
He does something only for his own benefit.
After studying law for more than a year (and failing), "Law is not for me.".
He's still scraping through his engineering courses.
He only cares for what he wants, other people are just there to put his wants on a silver plate and serve it to him.
He is going to suffer in the future, and when the time comes, I won't step in to save his skin anymore.
I'd gladly watch him fall from his oh so mighty throne, watch him as he falls and suffers and dies pitifully.
The only person I truly hate is my own brother.
Sad, isn't it.

Despite it all...

I guess we all have our down moments, and we have our good times.
"You call life a blessing, but what about its cruel moments? You call life a curse, but what about its sweet moments?"
In the end, I can't deny the fact that I get joy whenever I help someone.
I can't lie, saying that I'd feel happiest when I get recognition, but for me, my rewards are when I've helped someone.
"Whatever you put your trust and love in the most, God would use it to disappoint you."
This may be hypocritical in the end, but it's proof that I am human.

When to be selfish?

I don't like it when someone goes "Wow, you're so good at understanding others. No wonder you want to be a psychologist."
I do NOT try understanding others because I want to become a psychologist.
I try my best to be understanding because I am human.
Do we learn how to cook because we want to become a chef?
Do we learn how to drive because we want to become a driver?
They're skills which we need to learn in life.
It's the same.
Do we learn how to understand others because we want to become a psychologist?
Are psychologists the only people in the world who need to learn how to comfort, listen and care? Do the other people in the world need not know how?
Or maybe I'm wrong.
Only psychologists and those who want to be them need to know how to care.
The rest of the world can do as they want without a care for other people's feelings.
Even so, psychologists are still human.
I am still human.
I feel.
I tire.
I hurt.
I surround myself with people whom I care for with all my heart, and in return they torture my heart and mind slowly like a poison.
I let myself be conned by the hypocritical people who call me a good friend.
I'm a very kind idiot.
I get hurt over and over again, but I keep silent and wait for a chance to be there for the person, to stand for the person, to be ready to catch the person if he or she falls even though my arms are already broken beyond repair.
Why is it that there is no one who can give me what I truly want?
Why is it that there is no one who can understand me?
Because I don't say it out?
Then it isn't fair.
I care for the silent people too.
I kill my own pain for others to lean on me.
Once they have the strength to walk on their own, I am left behind.

Went to school yesterday.

Went to Feli's to study History.
We failed.

Hopefully when I go to Ling's at 10 later we'd actually do some studying cause I haven't started History yet.
If you are wondering what did I do when I skipped school, I was sleeping, secretly going online (like I am now XD) and studying Maths which I know I'd get an 'A' for.

One thing you should know, if you sleep at 12 am, wake up two hours later and stay active (?) for the rest of the day until around 6pm, you'd be very tired.
So I took a shower and slept.
7 pm my parents took their revenge.

My dad wanted to go to the Ship for dinner for an occasional treat, and my mom dutifully woke me up.
And one thing about my mom is if she wants you to wake up, she won't stop talking.
*suffered pure agony...

So still half awake, I went to the Ship, and unfortunately got a seat next to a family of four, both children being young.
The son was about eight and the daughter around six?
And for me, when I'm sleepy, my ears tend to be more sensitive.
Sensitive ears + Children with voices of high frequency = TORTURE
I mean seriously, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Ship supposed to be 'high class'?
I don't mind if you bring your children along, but make sure they behave.

She expressed her curiousity with much enthusiasm.

The daughter is going to pay for the meal, that's why she's eating such expensive food.


To be honest, I don't really like it when parents pamper their young children.
If their children are already teenagers, it's okay, cause I don't think it'd affect their personalities much, but I think if you pamper children at a young age, they'd get spoilt and hard to control.


Back to dinner.
I ordered a mocktail.
It was a combination of soda water, orange juice, mango juice and pineapple juice.
It was terrible and a total waste of money.
Tasteless and too much ice.

Overall I found it fun.
Only thing is that their eyes keep getting covered, horrible lighting at times and challenging angles.
But despite that, it was an experience.

So some of you know that I want to take up psychology.
And some of you would also know that I want to go to America.
Well, 'some' is not my parents.
My dad is determined that I go to Singapore and go for A levels.

Then, STILL half asleep, I SMSed another friend, telling that I got a call from XXX.

Cosplay (woes)

Yes, I am aware that I haven't updated this blog for a very long time.
Attempts to enter any new posts resulted in my MSN signing out, thus I gave up.

Anyway.
I'm cosplaying two characters for CF (Comic Fiesta) this year~

Chrome from Katekyo Hitman Reborn (manga), as well as Rin from Vocaloid (a song composing program/game).
Why cosplay two characters?
It is due to my darling Ling who randomly SMSed me last Sunday, saying that she wanted to cosplay Len (Rin's twin brother).
So I called (my phone can't SMS at the moment).
Me: Who's that?
Ling: The twin from Vocaloid!
Me: Ah. So what do you want me to do?
Ling: Cosplay with me!
Me: Huh? Okay.
Thus, I am cosplaying another character.
(It turned out later that she wasn't expecting me to say yes. Ah well. XD)

BUT!
It seems that fate likes to play games with me.
The first cosplay I did was Linalee.
I showed off my 'beautiful' legs with her (Linalee's) short skirt.
At least I was wearing thigh length stockings.
Then this year for Chrome I'll showing off my 'splendid' legs again (at least I'm wearing knee length boots! D:) AS WELL AS revealing my 'slim' stomach and 'perfect' skin (Her shirt's short. Curse her school uniform. T.T).
And now for Rin, I'd be showing off my thighs (wearing knee length leg warmers), stomach (her shirt's short too. -.-) AND my arms since she wears sleeveless.
I hate wearing sleeveless.
I have never worn sleeveless since...

Yesterday as I was going for Chinese class I fell, scrapped both my knees, bruised my left shin and sprained my left ankle.
And in the process I damaged Daniel's project.
I'm really really sorry!!

And then there was Yong Xuen's belated 17th birthday party at Pizza Hut.
I was the first one there and was like "What the... Where's everybody? o.o"

Prefect Installation aka retirement!!! XD

Prefect Installation Day on monday (30th of June)!

By right, the Form 5 prefects don't need to duty anymore, but we're still forced to 'duty'.
'Duty', being we don't really care (not that we ever did, I'm sure. ^^)

Two of my prefect friends, on the other hand, decided to get sick.
Diarrhea and sore throat with fever.
And one of them would be flying to Japan on that very day.

Anyway, before we went into the hall we had a really long ceremony of installing the prefects (Form 1 to Form 4), passing down the duties to the 'next generation', speeches by the past and current prefects, singing the prefects' song and saying the prefects' oath (because all the prefects did it in front of the whole school, another of my dear friend said we looked like tortoises because we're green. Ha ha, Feli, ha ha.).

It was so boring.

I pity the other students who were forced to sit through the entire ceremony under the hot sun even though they have nothing to do with it.

After that, to the hall for the food, fun and games!

Food was terrible (sorry, but it was.).

Soft drinks as usual, a BIT of fruit (one THIN slice per person), a BIT of spaghetti (which was cold), a BIT of potato salad and a slice of chicken.

I understand that there's a lot of prefects thus you'd need to save the food for everyone, but can't you PREPARE MORE FOOD!?

Anyhow, I'm kind of glad that as Form 5s we can get our food first.

The line was previously double that length, but I only took the picture when it was shortened.

Suggestion: individual portions.

There was performance from the juniors (there was slight technical errors), from a guest school and from the seniors.

Seriously, for my batch of prefects, all we perform is singing.

We're the school's unofficial choir team.

Oh, and they gave some goodies.

Sweets, chocolate, GSC ticket voucher (which I gave to my brother who'd be using it to date his girlfriend)...

A lot of things happened, but I'm too lazy to narrate.

"Oh, sure. But it has been like this for the entire week. I don't think it would make a difference."

Dreamy Idealist (DI)
