April Fun!

April has been quite the month already and we are only 9 days in!

Shopping is not Zachary's favorite thing to do with mommy... I talked him into going with me one day and he kept telling me "Mommy, NO shopping" I kept trying to entertain him and grab the few things I went into the store for, next thing I know he's out cold! Guess he really didn't want to go!!! Poor kid! I felt so bad, and notice he's trying to use those little fingers of his to protect his face from the cart?!?! Needless to say, we checked right out and home we went. Nap time for sure!!!

Zachary has learned how to repeat everything! He can say his A,B,C's and numbers, and he can also repeat all those words he's not supposed to know! Good times! I'm going to have to really start behaving and watch my mouth! He has also started the terrible two tantrums. Not so fun... Hopefully they won't last forever!!!

We have a neighbor that has a little boy almost the same age as Zach. Those two have more fun together as you can see! Lots of giggles!

Jason got a new project to work on in his spare time! We already have on 63 Nova, but now we have a 62 as well! He is in love with this car! I'll try and post some updates along the way! It's not purple, its maroon, but for some reason this picture looks really purple!

The Easter bunny made it to our house yesterday... Jason had a brilliant idea of making a "bunny trail" with jelly beans for our little jelly belly... Needless to say, Zach could have cared less about the eggs, he just wanted to shove as many jelly beans in his mouth as fast as he could! See below! I'm sorry I'm laughing so hard, and moving so much, but he literally had about 6 in his mouth and 4 in each hand trying to get them chewed up and swallowed as fast as he could!

That's all for now! I'll post again in a little while! Enjoy!

March Madness

So Jason was gone the whole month of February and Zach was one happy boy when daddy returned!!! They wore each other out!!! Wrestling is a huge thing right now at my house and Zach is a pro! As seen below holding dad down for the count!

March was a great month for the northern lights this year! We had many nights of beautiful lights! I took these at about 11pm one night and the whole sky was glowing!  Image Image

I was busy with Cheerleading this month! Our state competition was the middle of March and I was really stressing since I had only been working with the team for about 6 weeks. We had to travel to Anchorage and had a fantastic trip!!! The girls got a 2nd place for the stunt division and a 3rd place for the team division! I was so happy and proud of them! And of course it sealed my fate of being coach again this year. I didn't even get a choice! I was told I would be head coach for next year! That's a good thing though(i think)!!!

January and February Fun!

So after New Years, we sent Grandma back to Utah, and we started to hibernate! But only for a few days! I got a phone call from the high school that their cheerleading coach had quit mid season and wanted to see if I was ready to come back?!?! I couldn't turn them down, and had to jump in head first!
So I went back to coaching. We had a mini cheerleading camp fundraiser a few weeks after my return. It went fantastic!!! Lots of little girls attended and it was a huge success!

Since Jason has been busy with work he has been traveling for training and such... For the whole month of February Jason was in Oklahoma while Zach and I held down the homestead!  We had a super bowl party and snacked our little hearts out!

While Jason was gone it was extremely cold and we also got dumped on with snow!!! I do NOT really care for the cold, but at least I had a snugly little boy! Zach was also my little helper when it came time to plow out the driveway! We would go for 5 minutes, then in to get warm. I waited til it warmed up to -25 before we started plowing!

Why Jason was gone Zach got RSV again. They didn't have to hospitalize him, but he was one sick little boy. We decided that it was time to move him into a big boy bed instead of a crib and he did pretty good! There were a few nights that he slept kind of screwy though! And one day where he was a little over tired! His Daycare provider sent me the last picture. Sometimes toddler life is just rough! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
