Karsyn took this picture of Shane checking out his new iPhone watch.
He earned it as an incentive to sell more solar.

We went to Chandler mall to check out Aunt Toni's new store that she will be working at in a month... The kids are beyond excited she's coming back!

Oh Karsyn-Lynne! She thought it'd be a great idea to color red pen on my couch for some reason...

So, I made her arm look like my couch. She was not happy! And then of course, I felt bad!

Pregnancy #6 and #7

Pregnancy #6- Due March 2015, Delivered August 16, 2014 at 9 weeks
July 10ish- found out I was pregnant after multiple negative tests.
July 28ish- went to Dr. confirmed pregnancy, then did an ultrasound with no findings. Stated too early to confirm, but I knew I was 6-7 weeks. Returned a week later, after a intravaginal ultrasound, they discovered no baby began to develop....aka bilighted ovum.
August 16th, I miscarried at 9 weeks - no growth past 5.5 weeks

Pregnancy #7- Due July 22, 2015
November 8, 2014 - Home pregnancy confirmed at 3 weeks, 3 days.
November 26, 2014- Ultrasound at 6 weeks confirmed EDD 7/22/15

December 22, 2014- Ultrasound at 9weeks5days, not good, implications of problems. Dr. Guzman referred me to a Perinatologist for a more detailed look at the baby. He mentioned fluid on the baby.
I spent hours googling all the possibilities because I wanted to be inform when I went in for my appt.

December 26, 2014 (10 weeks)- Went to Scottsdale to see Dr. Kathleen Kaufman. The ultrasound indicated a 10mm cystic hygroma that extended down the baby's back. A hygroma often times indicated chromosomal abnormalities such as all the Trisomies (Down's, 18, 13, etc.) as well as Turner's Syndrome and other . She recommended that I get the non-invasive blood work done and wait for the results. I got my blood drawn at the office and now I wait 7-10 days.

January 9, 2015 (12 weeks)- We to Scottsdale for a follow-up ultrasound and to get the results of the blood work. The hygroma shrunk to 4.5mm, all the anatomy looks great (i.e. all 4 chambers of the heart are present, heartbeat was 165bpm, brain, stomach, kidneys, etc). The u/s tech also checked the gender and it's a GIRL also confirmed by the blood test. The blood test came back negative. YAY! All positive signs, but the Dr. said we are not 'out of the woods' yet.

January 16, 2015 (13.2 weeks)- Had an appointment with Dr. Guzman. He seemed very optimistic about my situation. Baby's heart rate 164bpm

January 21, 2015 (14 weeks) - Follow up ultrasound: Hygroma is 3.2mm. Heart rate: 159bpm. Heart ventricles look good, kidneys look good, limbs all there with 20 fingers and toes. Overall, baby looks great. Now we have to pray for all the fluid to go away and not accumulate in any other area.

January 23, 2015, Today, Shane gave me a priesthood blessing. Something I should have done at the beginning of this whole thing, but I guess however this experience has strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father and increased my faith immensely. I was blessed with surety and peace that this baby will be healthy and well as you and our family continues to be prayerful and faithful. Also with ongoing energy and increased patience to continue to be the mother that you have been and you hope to be. I am so grateful for a husband that is worthy to hold the priesthood and so blessed to have this knowledge.

Nursery's Ready and So Are We!

Things are up and ready for this sweet baby to take over. Last nursery to put together. All the kiddos are situated in their own beds and bedtime is running smoothly. Everyone is super excited for her to come out of my tummy. Kendall counts down the days. Karsyn asks me almost everyday when she's coming out and she loves to feel her move. She also loves to tell me that my tummy is getting "full". Keaton always says the sweetest prayers and mentions her every time. He says things like, "please bless Kortney is comfortable in mom's tummy, she'll be health and strong, and that she's be happy." Such sweet kids.
