good dreams...

William woke up from what seemed like a good dream for the first time last week. We are sure he's had good dreams before, but he's never said anything about them. Well he woke up, sat up (he was in our bed) and asked "Where's my kitty cat??" and he's looking around like he's looking for it...and kept asking for it. We told him that we don't have a kitty and he would think about it and then just ask for it again. So I asked him "What color is it??" And he told me, SO matter-of-factly, "gray". It was so funny and cute!! He talked about that kitty-cat for a while :)

My first RODEO!

My friend had an extra ticket to the Rodeo last night and invited me so I went...it was SO fun!! I've never seen anything like that before, it was neat! We got there a little after 7 so we missed the opening ceramony or whatever (idk cause I've never been..) but we saw a lot of neat stuff. I loved the "muttin bustin'" I think it's called...the little kids rode sheep and tried to hang on the longest. It was cute (I even got one of their autographs! along with a few cowboys and Miss Rodeo's), but I don't think I would let William do it...I was so scared the kids were gonna get run over by the sheep. Then we ate (regular food at super high prices...but it was good) then when the rodeo was over...REBA!! Reba played for about 2 hours I think it was, and it was awesome!:) So fun!! p.s. I bought William a horse stuffed animal and he loves it!! he calls he "horsey horsey" but in his little way, I can't spell it or I would, but he says horsey between 2 and 5 times for it's name...it's so funny! I will get a pic of him with it! Right now he's sleeping with him .. aww!!

William's 2 yr pics

We got William's 2yr pics taken on Sunday and he did SO good! I just have to tell him to show his pretty smile and BAM there it is! :) it's so great!! Here are his pics...

He LOVED holding this 2! And this was the first shot..the lady said "Ready?" and William said "Ready!! :D"

He was happy to have balloons in his pic :) (of course they weren't real, but he was still excited about it)


It took forever to get him to look to the side...I'd tell him "Show her your pretty smile" and he would look at the camera and :D hehe


He loved that soccer ball...and played with it up until we left, and was sad he couldn't have it (he's got one at home so when I reminded him he was a little bit happier ;) )

He's all better!

William is back to his silly little self! :) YAY!!! He had a double ear infection and a cold virus..and on top of that he was cutting a molar! Poor baby! but his 'new tooth' is out and his fever is gone and so is the runny nose! still has a little cough every now and then, but over all he is good! :)
Nothing else exciting going on here at the Patton household.....
I am working on my resolutions...yes, plural! I am working out/eating better, keeping the house cleaner, and we are working on being DEBT FREE!!! Once we are debt free we are going to buy our first house!! That is the light at the end of the tunnel for me! I WANT A HOUSE!!! I want a big laundry room, a yard for William, a garage for Colt, an extra bedroom, a big kitchen, a foyer (idk why, but I REALLY want that!!) Oh I can't wait! :) And once we have our house I wanna get a big couch, a bedroom set, awesome stuff for William's room, a heavy duty RED washer and dryer....OH I can't wait for that shopping!! :) It will be a hard year with ALL the extra money going to debt...no Walmart runs, no shopping with Mom on the weekend, no eating out...but it will SO be worth it! Thank God we found Dave Ramsey! :)

William is sick :(

He has had a fever since Saturday :( We are taking him in to the doc tomorrow, his appt is at 10:45. He seems to have a bad cold, but Cheryl (Colt's mom) said it may be an infection of some kind cause his fever comes right back after his Tylonol wears off. It's been pretty high...up to 102.7 Saturday and 102.9 after his nap today. So we will see tomorrow. I hate this...I hate to know that he's not feeling good :( Poor thing!

Marble Falls....

We had so much fun this weekend in Marble Falls! We saw Colt's step-mom and his grandparents. Tina (Colt's step-mom) went with us to see the Christmas lights, that was fun! And we saw a lot of fancy cars...even a limo! William loved the limo :) Lulu and Big Don (Colt's grandparents) got William a CAT dump truck...at first William was scared of it, but he's warmed up to it...it makes noises so that took some getting use to! :) Tina got him clothes, that are super cute, and a little skateboard, which he LOVES! We got an Applebee's giftcard from Lulu and cash (among other things) from Tina and Dad. But it was most fun just hanging out at Tina's! We had some good food, which she let us bring home the left overs YUM! and watched a movie, Eagle Eye..loved it, and just played with William and Nemo (her dog). I can't wait until we all get to hang out again! Here are some pics! :)
