One fab weekend!

This weekend was amazing. As I said walking down the hall at home Saterday night "this is the way I want to live my life". I was busy but never felt busy.

Friday I did my normal weekend chores (laundry, vacumee, clean, all that fun stuff).
Saturday the fun began. I went to an art festival in town (didn't buy anything much to my dismay) but walked about and enjoyed the venders. Chef made me lunch from the restuarnt Thia Curry Veggies with Rice (yum yum). I took it home lazied about for a bit then when to the store to gather supplies for the rest of the weekend. Once Chef got home we headed out to see the sympony. This was my first sympony experience here. It was AMAZING. The hold a pops concert once a year at this amazing horse farm called Rebecca Farms. This years concert was in celebration of Glacier National Parks 100th anniversary. All the music revolved around the celebration. They also hand two locally well known vocalist for the second half. I had wanted to see these to gentelman preform for a long time so this was perfect. The weather was wonderful for the event. We brought our chairs, blanket, and food. We were shocked to see the veterans of this event and the food spreads, drinks and groups they had. Next time we will know to not be so mickey mouse in our set up. After the concert I got a text from a friend to go Kayaking. Of course I jumped on the opportunity.
Sunday morning we heading out our our Kayaking adventure. I had never been river kayaking before. I have canoened a ton and know how to read a river, but being in a kayak is a bit different. I had also never been on the river we went on. I must say though us girls we did marvalious!! Neither of us fell out of our boats nor did we even come close. We had a great day we even had enough time to enjoy lunch together. I hurried home from lunch to meet Chef and head to "the cabin" for the night. My boss owns a cabin in the woods just over an hour away. There is a little town, that might be to generous of a word lets say spot with merc and restuarnt, that we stopped at the sells the best baked goods EVER! We got to the cabin in the early evening and settled in for the insuing rain storm. I read and relaxed while Chef napped. The next morning we got up headed back to the merc for more baked goodies and then off to Glacier Park.
I must say I am actually OK with being a work today. I had such a wonderful weekend that I am refreshed and ready to take on whatever today throws at me!
