October/November

I haven't been very good about keeping up with my posts. I need to do a better job now that Auntie Laura is all the way over in Italy for 2 years and won't get to see the kids (except for on skype :) ) Below are some photos from Halloween with our cute Scooby-Dooby (as Connor calls it) and our adorable pumpkin. I also have some pics from Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year over at Matt's parents house with my parents and the Funkes.

Connor's 3rd Birthday

Well, I can't believe it...Connor is 3!!!! We were back at St. Jude for his actual birthday and the poor guy had to start his big day with an exam under anesthesia, but we received good results and were able to go to the zoo and have some fun that afternoon. The weekend we returned, we had a party for him up at the park with friends and family and a bounce house :)

9 months and balloons!

Today, Hailey is 9 months old and I was able to get a couple of very cute photos to post :) I am also posting some photos from the Hot Air Balloon festival that we went to last weekend. We were so lucky to have Auntie Laura in town to come and watch the balloons with us (and Julia too).

Summer Fun!

I can't believe it is September already...the summer has flown by once again. We have had such a fun summer with lots of visits to the park, Tahoe, the pool, etc. Hailey is beetling around everywhere and pulling herself up on everything! and of course, EVERYTHING goes into her mouth. Connor is really into race cars right now and Matt built a really neat track for his hot wheels/matchbox cars.

She's teething, she's sitting, she's crawling....and he's potty trained!!!

It's been a very busy month at the Gray household. My Auntie Dorothy came from NZ for a visit for the month of June. It was so wonderful to see her and spend some time with her for her to get to know Connor and Hailey. We had a trip back to St. Jude at the end of June for check ups for both of the kids....everything looked good. We spent a lovely 4th of July weekend at the Lake with my family and got to see Tiggy and Laura - Connor also got to go on his first boat ride on the Lake. Since then, Hailey has cut her two bottom teeth, is now confidently sitting on her own and has even started crawling (a modified version of crawling, but she can sure make it across a room quickly!). We decided this past weekend that it was time for Connor to start using the potty and much to our pleasant surprise the transition has gone amazingly well. He is very proud to use the big boy potty and is doing such a good job (he told me this morning that "he and daddy are messy pee'ers" I just started cracking up...I'm sure Matt with thank me for putting that on here ;) ). Connor also started taking swimming lessons this month and is really enjoying them. I'm excited to see what the next month has in store for us :)
