Zoo fun

So I am behind again. But I have been having fun with the zoo of boxes at my house. Not only do I get to enjoy my own little zoo, Mommy and Vicki took me to the real Indianapolis Zoo a week ago Wednesday. We had a picnic and a wonderful day looking at all the animals. I love these little adventures I got to enjoy. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy.ImageWell, not the best pictures, but we had to take it because a year ago we had this picture (you can look back at the history of this blog and see). This time it wasn't so easy. Vicki was trying to contain a little rascal that didn't want to hold still. Hmm, who could that be?
Image resting by some flowers on the hot day
Image For some reason I really like this calf. I have seen cows before but I wanted to touch it and peer in at it. Could be that this calf pee'd for a really long long time.
Image We got to see the Koalas, they were visiting for the summer.
I learned something, they really not bears. So we can't call them Koala Bears

Image I loved watching the fish
Image Trying to pet a shark
Image I enjoyed watching the elephant in the water. It was a hot day and I was hoping I might get sprayed. We didn't but we did find the splash park, which I loved. Mommy didn't intend on getting wet, but I made sure she did.

if you look closely you can see my reflection in the window
Image Attacking mommy with kisses. "Thank you so much for taking me to the Zoo mommy, Thank you!"ImageAfter a long day at the Zoo I was wore out
and this is how they found me before we even left the Zoo parking lot.

The Zoo was so much fun, at each animal I would go Ruff, ruff, like a dog. I guess I thought they all talked dog. I also particularly like walking across the bridge to see the Rhinos. I saw some kids jumping on it before me, so I felt I needed to do the same, over and over again.

Swim Baby

So I am a little behind, but there is a lot going on at our house lately.
Ever since Mommy took me to Plainfield water park I have wanted to go back and take some friends. So Tuesday, Mommy and I took Mommy's friend Vicki and my babysitter's kids, Brianna and TJ. We had a blast. Since it was overcast there weren't too many people there and we had free reign. Here are a few pictures from our day.

I loved playing this game with Vicki

Image Splash fun.

I love it when they pull me up in the air and drop me down. I make really big splashes.

Mommy and me again

I wanted to go ride the kiddie slide. I would beg and point to do it over and over again.

TJ going down the slide.

They had no wait at the watersides at the end and were able to race and do whatever. I have lots of fun watching them

Thanks for going with us Vicki, Brianna, and TJ. I had so much fun with you.

More pool fun

A lot has happened since I last posted. Mommy had a few days off so Nicholas, I, and our mommys tried out another pool Friday. I really love the water. We went to the Mooresville pool. There was so many things we could do. I have to say My tan is looking pretty nice, and my hair seems to be getting blonder. Here are a couple pictures of us enjoying our snack.Image
Image Again no water pictures, there was no photographer present when Mommy is holding me in the water.

So the reason it took me a while to post is due to the fact that Daddy got a new job. Daddy was asked to apply for a position in Shipshewana. He had a interview on Monday. He said the offer was too good not to turn down and he would get to spend more time with me having his weekends, nights and holidays off. So on Tuesday he accepted the position and on Wednesday Mommy and Daddy sold our house. We have to move out by the 9th. We are moving in with my Grandma and Grandpa Sherck. I am excited, I am sure I will get spoiled plenty. Daddy starts his on the 11th. For right now, Mommy is going to be commuting back and forth on her days off till she finds another position. Please pray for us in this moving process. I have been having so much fun playing with the boxes. It should be a blast.

camping 4 (firework fun)

So with all the excitement of camping I was wore out, so Daddy and Mommy decided to put me to bed on time on the 4th of July and not go see fireworks. They promised me that I would get to see them, so Sunday night after we unloaded at Grandma and Grandpa's from camping we had our own little firework display.Image

I sure did have a great 4th of July weekend. I hope you did too.

Camping 3 (Water fun)

While we were camping I got to enjoy many new things. Some of my favorite were in the water. Daddy and Mommy took me on a canoe ride. I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I have to were this thing that hugs my chest, and I don't like tight things. Not to mention, Uncle Brian and Carrie were in the other canoe and they were a little dangerous. I was glad Grandma sat with me and protected me. Here are a few pictures of our canoeing adventure.

that is me on Grandma's lap. I know it is hard to tell with that tight vest

Still trying to figure out if I like it or not, but once Grandma brought out the food mommy packed, I eased up quite a bit

After all that hard work, I wanted to cool off so we went to the beach. I really enjoyed it. There were so many other kids I could watch, and it is so much fun to play in the water. This was my first time swimming in the lake.

Playing in the sand

It is really fun to throw the sand-

Uncle Brian taught me this when we were at my Great Grandpa's lake. He was skipping rocks so I thought I would try. This sand has some rocks in it so I thought I was just doing the same

checking everyone out.

Mommy and Daddy thought I was pooping. They are gross. Who poops on the beach? I didn't. Check out my super spikes Hair in that picture. I am cool.

camping 2 (corn hole fun)

So one of my favorite things camping was the games they played. I was really fascinated with Corn hole. It is kinda like basketball, you have to put the bags in the hole. Since I loved it so much, I did some funny things around it, Hence the many pictures. (If mommy has this many pictures of me to post on here can you imagine how many she really has).

camping fun (1)

So I ended up camping a little earlier than expected, but I really enjoyed it. This past week, My normal babysitter went on vacation. While she was gone, mommy and daddy made other arrangements for me, but Wednesday night they found out that the person who was going to babysit me on Thursday, her son was sick with diarrhea. They didn't want me to get it, Thankfully, so they tried to make other arrangements. Being last minute, they were out of luck. Daddy then switch his schedule to work the evening shift at work instead of the morning shift, then mommy would wake up and sleep when I slept in the afternoon before going back into work, but they still needed someone to watch me when mommy went into work. Mommy talked to Grandma Thursday morning and Grandpa was off work that day just getting ready for camping so Grandma sent Grandpa to the rescue to meet daddy 1/2 way (of the 3.5hr trip). I got so spoiled being by myself with Grandma and Grandpa early. Mommy and Daddy were kinda funny, they kept calling to check on me, but I was fine. Grandma and Grandpa don't have as many rules as Mommy and Daddy. With spending the first night with Grandma and Grandpa I got to know the camp ground well before mommy and daddy arrived and I even got to go to a 4th of July party at my Great Grandpa and Grandma Lehman's house. Grandma said I was quite funny playing in their lake and riding a mini 4 wheeler. Here are a couple pictures of me and my first camping experience.Image
Which one is the water
ImageOH so that is how you do it.
Mommy has pictures of me trying to do it myself. I was fascinated that I could get lemonade or water out of the coolers.

Image This is how mommy and daddy found me taking my nap in the camper. I decided to rearrange the pillows

Image I am such a big helper.

Really I just wanted to go on a bike ride

Image It turns out after all that mommy didn't have to work Thursday night and so I didn't have to go up to the campground early, but I am so glad I did. She was on call all night long but didn't have to go in. I guess the kids at the hospital just wanted to be home for the 4th of July.

Look for more camping photos there are just too many not to make more than one post

Things I enjoy lately

I have really been enjoying the weather and the outdoors. There is so much to do. Besides the park, the pool, and just being outside, I have enjoyed some new adventures. I really like bike riding.Image
Image So okay, I really don't ride the bike myself ( I can't really reach the pedals), Mommy or daddy tow me along behind. But I enjoy it, and I am really fascinated by their bikes. I try to climb on them, but Daddy won't let me do it by myself. I do have my own bike I like to try and ride, but I don't go near as fast.
Image I have been enjoying being a big boy and think I am so cool when I sit in the big boy seat. I try to act all grown up and read the paper or something.
Image
Image And of course like you saw in my other post, I love golfing. Mommy says it is just because I run all around the backyard, and even into the neighbors. Funny thing about these pictures. Right after they were taken I thought I needed to cool off a bit and I climbed into my swimming pool on the deck fully clothed. I didn't mind. It was refreshing.
ImageAnd with all the warm weather, I have enjoyed Popsicles. I bet you can't guess what color I ate. They are kinda messy though. Mommy found some that are just my size, and i can easily finish a whole one.

This weekend Mommy and Daddy are taking me camping with my Grandpa and Grandma Sherck. I am so excited. I don't know really what camping is, but I hear we spend a lot of time outdoors. It should be a blast.
