Michelle and DC

After adding all these pictures I think this was more of a Michelle trip for me than a DC trip. I loved each and every minute of it (especially the spending time with Michelle part). It was great.

Here she comes!
Michelle all to myself for five whole days.

Wow - what a long ride

I am really tired of all this but I do believe that this ride is about over. I'm schedule to return to work this coming Tuesday and this afternoon is the first time that I feel like I may really be able to do it. It has been a long seven weeks and I'm so glad it is almost behind me. Like Jay says - we can consider this my 55 year tune up and I should now be ready to go another 55. Bring it on!

7 Days Down

So I've been sick for about seven days and today I'm finally bored enough to do something. I was wondering what I could do from the comfort of my bed and decided I could post some pictures from my nieces reception. I love these guys, how can you not.

Boring

The blogging world has been a little boring lately. I really wish we would all get in the mood and start doing a little more blogging. To those of you are in the same boat as me - I'll try to do better if you do.

Great Weekend

I had the opportunity to tend Kinley Friday night and Saturday. All the guys in the family were headed to Montana to do a little fishing so it was just Grandma Jean and Kinley. We had so much fun . . . I just wanted to share a few pictures with you.

Image This is Kinley and Ivy holding down the boat until Grandpa Jay and Daddy load it on the trailer.

Image Kinley loves her Uncle B.

Image Did someone forget to tell Grandpa and Paul that they are only going for 2 days?

Image Kinley and I went shopping and we picked out a toy for her - she really wanted this Elmo mailbox.

Image Yea - Kinley got all the mail in the right place.

This is a game that Kayleen said Kinley started when they tended Ivy for us one weekend. It's fun to watch but I guess Ivy got carried away this time.
Kinley, Grandma Jean had great fun with you.

Hi

This is a new post.

Overwelmed - Lazy?

I'm having a weird week - I don't know why. Jay is in Baltimore for work, so close to Michelle yet so far away. Brandon is busy with . . . work, school, life, church, friends, and more school. It's good that everyone has something to do, in fact I have so much to do that I just stress and do none of it. I have a lesson tomorrow that I should be preparing for and I choose to mow the lawn instead. What's up with that? It's like I want to do everything except what I'm suppose to be doing. Yesterday I was suppose to go to work, which I did for awhile but then I left and went to that State Fair instead . . . it was great fun. Now that I'm through with the lawn I'm posting instead of doing my lesson for tomorrow . . . which is going to bomb unless I spend a few hours on it. Now I'm trying to think of something else to do instead of my lesson. I could go see Shay, I've been dying to do that. I could call the kids and see who wants to meet for breakfast/lunch. Maybe I should go take a long bath (I did just finish mowing the lawn). What I'd like to do is jump on a plane and go spend a day with my Shell Bell, but I really have to much to do, so I'll just sit around and think about it all for awhile. Maybe I'll post some random pictures - yea that would be good.

below and see what we started.

Some of our children with their children!

ImageQuite the fishing crew (and this is only about 1/2 of us).

ImageMark, Kallie, and Jodi

ImageJared, Kayleen, and Kinley

ImageErika and Bre

ImageI think Kinley likes riding!

ImageStanding by the fire in the rain.

ImageCan you tell that Grandma Jean loves Kinley,
I've got lots of pictures of her.

Image Even the "older generation" enjoys coloring.

ImageMore of the crew - sadly Ivy is the only dog left
to come camping. I think she missed her dog friends,
but she sure kept the kids busy taking them on walks.

ImageIt's fun to look at the fish but please don't make me touch it.

And last but not least - my personal favorite -
Jordan and Bre teaching Kinley a new
game - I don't think she gets it.

We only had two of the family missing this year -
we missed you Michelle and Curt,
hope you can make it next year!
