mufomuffins: 2012

its always good to make time for family no matter how busy we are with our own lives. so after my finals, we booked a room at RWS for 2 nights for a staycation!!

day one: USS!

went around acting like tourists for a cheap thrill. just walk around and snap snap snap at anything random things :D

we took the treasure hunter ride for a cheap thrill and it was basically just sitting in the jeep and going round and round. when we got on i lied to my little brother that he had to hold on to the fake steering wheel and steer the jeep properly or we would go off course :D he didnt know whether to believe me or not and from time to time he would let go of the steering wheel and exclaim " i think all of you are bluffing me!" my sis and brother played along and told him "look look! we are going to fall in the river! drive properly!" the poor kid didnt want to take the risk and made all sorts of skeptical remarks.. all while still holding on to the fake steering wheel :D

i convinced my dad to ride the battlestar! before the ride he was telling my little brother "you must open your eyes when riding so you can enjoy the view up there!" During the ride i happened to turn over to look at dad and there he was, looking damn macho, with his eyes squeezed tightly shut haha. but okay, kudos to him for riding a hanging roller coaster with 360 degrees turns :D

headed back to the hotel at night and there was nice surprise when we turned on the tv!

there was even a loft bed for my brother to climb up and down like a monkey-.-

first time i see hotels offering TWG instead of lipton or some other dubious tea bags.

day 2: sentosa.. like a tourist!

premium passes!

indoors skydiving!! i finally got a chance to try this out after so long!

it was a one hour lesson plus prep and changing of flight suit and the actual 'freefall' was only about 3 minutes. awesome experience!! not to mention the instructor was quite cute as well :D i've always wanted to try skydiving but im too afraid to die to make myself jump out of a helicopter-.-

then it was off to megazip adventure park at my sister's recommendation!

we. have. a. score. to. settle. -.-

cant believe i survived this! -.-

this was the ultimate worst obstacle. my rope would get tangled up with every board i crossed and my arms were ACHING from clinging on desperately to the rope!

so at one point all of us were stuck 3 stories above the ground while hanging on the stupid rope, so i took the chance to annoy my sis as usual :D one of the things that annoy her? me cracking cheesy puns while giving her the troll face and laughing hysterically at my own jokes :D actually i think my on-the-spot megazip-related puns are not bad!

"nothing, i'll just hang around :D"

this went on for quite awhile haha. i was way too bored. if my brother wasnt in the way i think she would have pushed me off just to get me to shut up :D

so at the end of every level there's this west-coast-park-like tire swing to get back to the starting point. I SWEAR THAT THING HATES ME. at level one, i got tangled up in the ropes while trying to get off the tire and i was dangling with one foot in the air -.- the sad truth of being short-.- at level 3, i flew straight into the pillar at the end. face first. ouch ): i dont know why stuff like this only happens to me -.-

managed to get a lift from the buggy driver! shiok!

we took the buggy to fort siloso to check out combat skirmish but sadly it was closed ):

went off to try out segway instead!

this..thing is a nightmare and it reminds exactly why i failed my driving test. my brother claims its easy to steer it so apparently it just my problem again-.-
