Christmas tag with LDRS creative

It's the 23rd of December, and in Norway - this is the day before Christmas. We celebrate the 24th of December as our main day with dinner and gifts. I have created a Christmas tag, using Petal Wishes Accordion Die together with Holly Wreath Circle Die Set and Dotty Doily Die Set.

Image

The stamps used here is the North Woods - Critter Stamps & Dies. The trees has been stamped and painted with distress ink. The moose has been stamped, coloured and cut out with dies from the stamp and die set. This is the fantastic thing about this set. You get dies with the stamps. No need to fussy cut the stamped images.

I have used kraft cardstock and a sheet og light green patterned paper from the sweet Winter Land - 6x6 Paper Pack.

Wishing you all a sweet Christmas celebration.

Five gift tags in the same style

Today, it's my turn to shown something from Hobbykunst's advent calendar. It's the last few days before Christmas, and not to much time to create something. Today, I am showing some gift tags.

Image

I often like to wrap Christmas present's with nice paper and home made gift tags. In these tags, I have worked with Maja design's Denim and Friends collection and dies from LDRS and Rayher. The motives are from Alexandra Renke - Fuchs Kreise with these fantastic sweet foxes painted in watercolours. The Merry Christmas words is from a paper from Kaisercraft's Mint Wishes collection.

Five gift tags in the same style.

All the gift tags have been created in the same style, with different motives from the same paper. Diecuts have been layered on the top of each other with 3D tape in between the layers. The edges has been distressed with destress oxide ink.

A Christmas scene bell jar

Bell jars seems to be the trend this Christmas. Here, I have mounted a little house inside the bell jar, as part of Hobbykunst's Christmas calendar. This is very simple to make.

Image

The house has been painted with chalky paint. I have used fake snow and a ribbon.

Image

The edges has got a layer of gesso. I have added white glitter in the gesso to make it sparkle.

Image

There is also some trees in the house set. They are nice to use together with the house, to create a scene.

The motives has been diecut from a patterned paper from Alexandra Renke. A lot of her papers has a lot of sweet motives, painted with watercolours. By using her papers, you get a lot of motives for a just on one sheet of paper.

This basket has been created with Kaisercraft's Mint Wishes collection. This is one of the sweetest Christmas collections I have seen this year.

The motives from Alexandra Renke can aso be used for other projects at other times of the year, and not just for Christmas.
