Another Year -- 2012 CCJLA

Another year has come and gone.

The 2012 Clark County Junior Livestock show is now

just a memory.

Highlights of this show

of course

ALWAYS revolve around family.

Stihl enjoyed his first Clark County fair (I think)

however, he slept thru a big portion of it.

It was Addis second fair and she slept thru a big portion of it too.

Tater and Josie had to work hard when they got thirsty.

Getting a little drink of Moo Juice takes more energy than just going to the fridge,

and water doesn't always come from the sink.

Reagen did very well in market and in showmanship this year.

I think this is something that we just take as a given.

The little girls rocked it in Pee Wee Junior Showmanship.

Always so much fun to watch.
I think they have big boots to fill when following their Moms, Aunts, and Uncle.

Brad introduced Summer to what has become the April tradition.

I sure hope she was impressed and I hope that they carry

it thru as a tradition in their little upcoming union.

The boys had some bad luck in the rodeo arena this year,

they had fun and that is what counts right?

Carly had a bit of a rough go, she loves the livestock shows so much.
I keep telling her that growing up is hard and now she has to show in the OLDTIMERS.
The main rule for the class is that they have to leave
all canes, walkers, and mechanical wheelchairs at the gate.
Being such an oldie did not slow her down as she won the
Oldtimers and 40 bucks to boot!

Yep.... Just a memory!

please don't go into SHOCK

Maybe I will just make this into a yearly tradition. It has now been ONE year since I have posted so PLEASE don't go into shock! How in the world do you simply catch up on an entire year. We can wind this up very quickly because somethings never change (or change much) I still have the very best family ever. AND it has grown with the birth of our first Grandson, Stihl Ryan Yardley, born on Sept 12th. Soon it will grow even more with the addition of a beautiful Daughter - in - Law, Miss Summer Sandberg, as Brad 'popped' the question on Christmas eve.

Disney On Ice

For Christmas bought tickets for the girls to go on a little field trip. Disney on Ice seemed appropiate. On Wednesday we packed up and went for a long ride and a longer wait in the famous Thomas and Mack traffic. It was SOOO worth the wait.

Three (four counting Reagen) were in awe as the Princesses, Mickey, Minnie, the Toy Story Gang, Donald and his nephews Alice, and ALL of their friend celebrated a huge party.
