Kacie and I went to Kaden's school today to talk to his kindergarten class about Korean Lunar New Year. I didn't have too much time in his classroom so I wasn't able to take pictures. Here is a picture of Kacie before we left.

Korean Lunar New Year

We are getting ready for our annual Lunar New Year Party. I ordered Kacie a new hanbok from Korea because she has really grown and her old one will not fit her! Kaden does not want to wear his hanbok this year. Stay tuned to see my gorgeous Kacie in her new hanbok this weekend at our Lunar New Year Party

New Beds!

Both K and K got new beds. Both beds are from Craiglist and were such a great deal that we decided to get them both one. Although, Kacie has been sleeping in Kaden's room the past three nights and both K and K want to sleep in the same room together. . . we will cherish this while it lasts. Kaden's loft bed came with a twin bed frame that goes underneath his loft perpendicular. We will probably be setting this up soon so Kacie can move in instead of her sleeping under his loft in a sleeping bag. Kacie is not "officially" sharing a room, just a sleeping place for the time being. . . here are the new bed pics.

Korean PRIDE!

Lately, Kaden especially has been really showing an interest in Korea and in being Korean. Whenever I mention something Korean, he immediately says, "hey, like me!". He also says that he can't wait to go back to Korea Camp this summer and see his friend, Elijah. This Thursday I am taking Korean cookies to Kaden's kindergarten class. I will be talking to his class about Korea and explaining to them that Korea is where Kaden was born.
