Our Week

Papa has been visiting for the past week. There have been several extremely hot days but when the humidity dropped (slightly) we tried to have some fun.

Pep Rally

Tonight we went to our swim team pep rally...a Friday night tradition prior to home swim meets. It's a fun family environment with music, a cookout and cheers.

Michigan Vacation

I've finally had a chance to sit down and post about some of our fun in Michigan. The next 5 or 6 posts recapp the fun we had the past few weeks.

We had a fabulous time visiting friends and family. I am so blessed to have some friends that have been in my life as long as I can remember...they are truly family, not friends.

We were lucky that we were also able to overlap with our CO cousins for one day and had a lot of fun at a waterpark with Nana.

Silver Lake...Day 1

We were so lucky to have a few days with my dear friend Tricia and her family at her mom's lake house. They are always s hospitable and are truly family in our hearts. It is so fun to se our kids together after having been friends since we were the same age!

Boyne City

We headed to my friend's (Aunt Shelly) lake house for a few fun days up north. The first evening we enjoyed a boat ride on Lake Charlevoix with the Parpart boys...Blake and Quinn.

A beautiful Michigan day on the beach and in a boat...nothing better! So glad the girls can experience summer fun in Michigan like I did as a young girl.
