..SING ++ i came across this quotation while fb-hopping. "We were meant to lose people. How else would we know how important they are?" and this kinda struck me, considering im about to leave my sangat bes colleagues in materialise. oh, yeah, if you didnt know already, i only have 6 days left to be in materialise (my current company) before i get totally, completely unemployed (for a week, and yeayy ) and then off to my new workplace, far far away in sepang :) the thing about losing is - its not fun. really, really not fun. its awful, even. be it people, books, pants, tops, that cream tudung with mini flowers all over, that pretty brooch from kafu i only managed to wear only once, that cool chuck taylor during freshman year in uni (waa dah hilang!), anything. not fun AT ALL. but then, nothing in this world is meant to last forever. because forever only applies when it comes to the hereafter. like jannah. subhanallah. so now, losing people. beautiful people. even though ive en...

Scary films

I used to be a fan of scary ghost films even though I'm sucha scaredy cat. I enjoyed screaming and shrieking when seeing the hantu in those films. But the minus part comes later when the films finished. Nak tidur, nak mandi etc all seemed too hard to do because the scary scenes were still fresh in the memory. What if the lady with the long hair stares at me from the top of the closet ok tetiba dah rase seram. I remember seeing The Omen and IT (to name a few - apparently my family was a fan of this genre) when I was small and ended up sleeping in my parents bedroom for weeks. Sampai sekarang cite tu masih seram dan tak berani kot nak tgk lg. Then dark water, ju-on, ringo and all Japanese Korean Thai scary films came along. So one day I decided to stop being a fan of ghost films and forbid myself to see all ghost films and the likes. And it does me wonder. As of now I don't remember when was the last time I saw one. Oh wait. I'm seeing one now. Ye apparently Alak and Hikmat ...

Okkk

Ok I can't help but blogging about this. Pakcik esa tengah layan twilight on tv. "Bes jugak cite vampire2 nih." Hopefully one day he will "bes jugak dpt menantu vampire nih" haha Of course I'm joking.

Recently I've been seeing Amru Khalid's Bismika Nahya videos. Bismika Nahya is a talk program about each name of Allah and what does it really mean and how it connects to us and how to use it in our daily lives. The videos are very enlightening (well I haven't finished seeing all of em yet). You should try YouTube them. So there's this episode about Allah's name Ar-razaaq. While we've been perceiving that our rizq (mostly) comes disguised as money, we often overlook that the feeling when we have a good privy conversation with Allah pouring our heart out of piety - is also regarded a rizq, a rizq to the soul (a much better one, in fact). When Allah gets angry to His slave He will deny him sustenance (the rizq), as quoted by our prophet saw "..a man is deprived provisions/sustenance for a sin he commits". And don't forget that Allah may also deprive one from the sustenance related to the soul. So hm it could be for someone who used to enjoy praying a...
