Emery is getting so big! She is rolling everywhere and sits up all by herself. She has such a fun little personality and she loves to squeak and squeal. Here are a few pictures we took the other day.

Vanity

No, I'm not talking about self-centeredness, I'm talking about an actual bathroom vanity.  Over Easter weekend (while we were out of town) the condo above us flooded, which flooded the ceiling and walls in our bathroom.  Sucks, yes, but we don't have to pay for anything, so it could turn out to be a good thing.  Here's why:

A contractor came over yesterday and looked at the damage.  About half of the bathroom needs to be ripped apart and redone - about $2500 worth of work.  Everything from the exterior wall to just past the vanity, which means that the contractor has to take the mirror off the wall and remove the vanity.  Well those are both 20-some-odd years old, so we're thinking, if he has to take the vanity and mirror off anyway, part of his job is putting them back - so why not buy new ones and have him just put them on instead?  Our old ones are..well...old, so it may be easier for him to put a new vanity and mirror up anyway.

We've done a little looking online to price check and see what we like and are planning on shopping around this coming week, but we want to know if you know of anywhere we could get a decent vanity and mirror for a decent price. We're not looking for anything super fancy, just something...made this millennium.

Emery's Blessing Day

January 2 was a special day! Nick gave Emery a wonderful blessing. After sacrament meeting we went to Nick's Aunt and Uncle's house for a yummy lunch. Thanks to everyone that came and brought food. It was so much fun to get to see everyone!

Emery Nicole!

Our little girl has arrived! Emery Nicole was born November 2 at 8:22 am. She weighed 7 lbs 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. She has a beautiful head of dark hair and we love her so much! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.

A new addition...

is coming and it's a girl! We are so excited! We can't wait for November 8!

I am so behind...

...on blogging! A lot has happened since my last post. We celebrated Christmas and New years with family and it was a lot of fun! Unfortunately I don't have many pictures. I stole these from Kel's blog. Christmas morning...
We got to spend time with Tom, Kel and Morgan while we were in Lynndyl! We don't get to visit with them very often and we miss them!
For New Years we went to Logan and while we were there we celebrated Eli's birthday.
This is the platter Nick made Tom and the second pic is the platter that I made for my Dad.Also, thanks to Kel showing me how, I am now making watches and selling them! It's something to do from home and I love being crafty. Here are just a couple of pics to give you the idea. I am using different watch faces now, much cuter ones (I think). I make the bands in a ton of colors. Let me know if you are interested in one! I'll do custom orders too! They are great for gifts or to do at parties!

Before Thanksgiving Nick and I took our friends to an apple orchard in Provo. I wanted to get a really good picture of them to give to their mom for having us down to New Mexico for Thanksgiving. The leaves were already gone but I think they turned out ok. While we were there James also took some pictures of us.
