Sledding Fun
We didn’t get a lot of snow in Stanberry over Christmas but that didn’t stop Brooke and Jason from having some sledding fun! Jason had to introduce Brooke to his tradition of pulling the sled with the Ranger. They went in many circles around the house and Brooke had a blast! She wasn’t too thrilled about falling off but was always willing to get right back on! They did go down the hill a few times too.

Will is in this great stage now of happy and smiling all the time. He also has a lot to say these days. It just all comes out as one sound, “dadadadadada….”

More St. Louis fun
We had a nice trip to St. Louis (a few weeks ago). Couldn’t skip putting this cute bath picture up. The other ones are Brooke having fun (playing house) at the Magic House.

Christmas Tree Farm
We chose the coldest Sunday there was and went to Reindeer Lane in Smithville to cut down our Christmas tree. Jason and I really wanted to do this because this is where we went to get our tree when we lived in Plattsburg. We always enjoyed the real reindeer and free popcorn and hot chocolate…little did we know we would get to bring our kids back to enjoy it 3 years later! Brooke loved picking out the tree, drinking hot chocolate and seeing the reindeer! Will just tried to stay warm!

7 Months!
Will turned 7 mos last week! He has all kinds of new tricks:
-eating rice cereal, oatmeal, and all kinds of baby food fruits and veggies…so far he has loved everything he has tried and LOVES to eat! We even had to cut back a little because he wasn’t taking enough milk!
-eating puffs (finger foods)…we just started this and so far he is very focused at getting those things into his mouth and does a pretty good job of it
-moving…you already saw this on the video! He is up on all 4’s more and more each day and he is also sitting completely by himself
-making noise…he continue to babble, but has added yelling/screeching to his repertoire (he likes to be heard!)
-SLEEPING!!! until we go back out of town and mess him up again, he has been consistently sleeping from about 7:30-8 until about 5:30…he will then go back to sleep until 7 or so unless I have to wake him earlier for daycare
He has his 2 bottom teeth and hopefully won’t be getting any more too soon so we can continue that sleeping thing!
I have not had a chance to take a ‘diaper picture’ for this month but he’s changed so much this past month didn’t want to miss this post…will add one when I get it!
