The last night we were in CO, we went on a chuck wagon ride and had a wonderful evening. The kids loved the horse-drawn wagon ride, including seeing the cows on the ranch. Once we arrived at the dinner, Will was very excited to see some cats (me-mows) to play with. They also enjoyed a roping lesson and petting the horses. The night was completed with a beautiful double rainbow over the CO skyline. It was a wonderful trip!
We had a busy day on our last day in Colorado. In the morning we rode the alpine slide down a mountain. Brooke loved this and was not scared at all. She also loved riding the ski lift up to the top of the slide! We then went to Fish Creek Falls, a beautiful waterfall and hiking path. The kids couldn’t wait to get into the creek to play in the water.
On the second day we took a gondola ride up to the top of the mountain and enjoyed a little hike on the mountain. The kids loved the gondola ride and enjoyed the hike.

We had a wonderful trip to Steamboat Springs, CO with the entire Nickell family to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa Nickell’s 40th anniversary.
The first day of our trip was July 4th so we celebrated at the annual Steamboat Springs parade. The kids loved the parade!
Will LOVES guitars! He always points them out and was so excited when daddy got a guitar to teach himself how to play! He was even more excited when grandma and grandpa bought him his own guitar in Mexico! He refers to it only as, “my guitar!” He loves to play it with daddy!
