Snow cave campout

These two BARELY survived a SUB zero night in snowcaps with the scouts. It was -7 degrees when I went to pick them up at 7am. At 4:30am I started getting SOS messages- but being the mean mom I am- I told them I'd be there at 7am and to tough it out-

Major was SURE he had frostbite- but thankfully after a 30 minute hot shower, sitting by the fire sipping cocoa- they were laughing and decided it wasn't so bad after all. Better them than me. :)

Emery turned NINE

Emery turned 9 on February 8th-2019! We started the day with pumpkin chocolate chip bread and fruit. Preston went to meet her for lunch at school. Then we both went back to tell stories about Emery and bring creamies to her class! She had dance after school and Jane joined us for dinner and a late night. She picked Mo Betta's for dinner and strawberry shortcake for dessert. A pretty GREAT day if I say so myself.

She is creative, kind, thoughtful, GOOD, occasionally sassy, independent, imaginative, curious, SWEET, happy, friendly little girl who I couldn't possibly LOVE more. She is the perfect sidekick and I am SO happy she is in our family.

She can sing along to almost any song on the radio
She loves watching Alexis and Cait on Netflix
She LOVES playing Barbies
She's a writer and a reader
She still plays with TOYS and is imaginative
She's a homebody
She's a dreamer
She's a believer
