It's a Wonderful Life!

Wow, so I have to thank my wonderful husband for my awesome Christmas gift...a new computer...but that means transferring some serious files, etc to a new computer.  Oh how the reminiscing has begun!!!  This has been such a wonderful year for us, and we are unsure of everything that is to become of 2013 but we are SO excited to find out!  As I was looking back at some stuff I couldn't help but feel overwhelmingly blessed at how my life has turned out thus far.  Here is the first video that I found that I made for Nathan's birthday when we was deployed a few years ago.  It really summed up our wonderful life!!!  (Warning...it's long!)

And, this video brought tears of joy and sadness as I looked back at how we spent a Christmas without Nathan one year!  But, oh how absence makes the heart grow fonder!  I made a video every month to send him, here was one of them!  

I love reminiscing because I truly feel blessed in everything that has made up my life, all the good, bad, easy, and hardships have really shaped who I have become!  I am excited about the year to come!  

Beware!!!!  I am back in the movie making business ;)

Little of this, Little of that...

We are already well into December and I have not been taking Christmas pictures :(  But, we have certainly been busy!  Here are some cute pictures of the girls!

Happy Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving we stayed in Washington and decided to find a neat place to go out to eat.  I LOVE doing the potluck Thanksgiving with friends, but we wanted to change it up a bit this year.  We ended up taking a road trip over the pass to a resort called Suncadia near Roslyn, WA.  We even saw our first snow this year as we went through the pass :)  We were joined by our neighbors/friends for the day!  We had a very blessed and thankful Thanksgiving!

It ended up being a beautiful day on Thanksgiving and the resort had a beautiful view of the mountains!!!  We were so happy to have the Montgomery's join us for a Thanksgiving feast in the mountains :) 

Disney on Ice: Tangled

We went to the Disney on Ice: Tangled in November, and the girls just loved it!!!

 Not only do you get to see all the princesses, but Carley lit up when she saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse!!!

 We went with our friends the Swishers, Linclon and Lila are buddies with Carley and Elizabeth!!  We are fortunate to have found the Swisher family!

Rain, Rain Go Away...

Rain, Rain Go Away...

YES, the rainy season has officially begun and with full force, but that did not stop us from A LOT of fun activities this month!!!

October was full of so many fun things!!!!  To start off, we had Uncle Chad and Aunt Jill come visit for Chad's birthday!!!!  We had so much fun showing them around the town, complete with a boat tour from Gig Harbor :)

 Salmon Beach!  Really neat place that you can only get to by walking...you park your car and come down a steep path or a lot of stairs.  These people are dedicated, and probably in good shape!

Elizabeth is in a multiage/grade class at school and they are called the Manatees!  They have a mascot called Milton, and Elizabeth had him at home for a weekend.  :)

Carley had a field trip with her class to a pumpkin patch in town, she is the one in the yellow rain coat.  We are in the PacNW...Rain, Rain, Rain!!!

September Wrap Up

We had a SUPER September!!!  School started for both girls, my Mom and Dad came to visit, we went to Sonoma for our anniversary trip, AND Carley turned 3!!!  Here are a few other highlights from September!  Whew... maybe the next few months will be a little slower...yeah right!!
