I like to think of November as the "Thankful" month. I know I have a lot to be "thankful" for...my faith, my family and my friends just to name a few. There is a whole heck of a lot that goes on in November! So I'll remind you of a few! Get ready folks...You are going to be busy!
- In the Christian calendar, November 2 is All Souls Day. It is known in Mexico as (Day of the Dead), and the whole month is especially dedicated to praying for the dead. (I need all the prayers I can get!)
- November 10 is the birthday of the United States Marine Corps (I do love a good party!)
- The United States observes Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday in November (Pass the mashed potatoes please!)
- National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo) (Who knew?)
- Holy Souls in Purgatory (You know who you are!)
- Sweet Potato Awareness Month (really?)
- No Shave November (Does this include underarms and legs?)
- Movember (I do love a man with facial hair!)
- A famous day for shopping known as "Black Friday". (Nope not me! All the
wine in Francetea in China will not get me out there!) - Buy Nothing Day (I'm on it plus I'm broke!)
- Cyber Monday (can sometimes fall in December) (My FAVORITE Day with early morning
winecoffee)
So tell me...what are you "thankful" for?
