We are really excited.
I have had this blog for three years as I have gone through high school and most of college. I have documented my life as I have seen it but now, I will be joining forces with my best friend and we'll have a new blog together.
Things will soon be posted when we get back from Disneyland!!!

Temple Square Performance
This is an article that was written about our performance last weekend. I am in two of the pictures. I sat in front of the Basses, second in from the edge of the stage.
We played in the Gym at BYU-Idaho then in an auditorium in Twin Falls. They were great performances and the spirit was wonderful but it was nothing that would compared to our Salt Lake performance experience.
Playing at the Tabernacle was one that I will never forget. We had a three hour rehearsal in the afternoon that was taped for splicing into the DVD. During those run throughs, I felt the spirit differently that I had during the other performances. I thought about where we were. Temple Square. In the Tabernacle. Under the spires of the magnificent Salt Lake Temple. There was so much sacred history here. There is already a beautiful spirit on Temple Square. But on top of that, to play music praising God's Everlasting Love for his children in a place that was already immersed in such a spirit was almost overwhelming. I was emotional for over half the performance. More than once, our conductor got tears in his eyes as the orchestration and voices blended together and filled the Tabernacle that was filled with people who had come to share and enjoy that spirit with us.
It is hard to express what the experience was like but I hope this little paragraph gave you a glimpse. It was amazing and I will never forget it. I wish everyone could have been there. It was more beautiful than I ever would have thought.

Thursday
This morning, Colin and I sat in lawn chairs on the sidewalk by his apartment to record data for his stats class. We counted how many students used the crosswalk and how many Jwalked- boys vs girls. It was 35 degrees and windy. So much fun.

Recent happenings
I may not have a job. I may not have a full schedule everyday. My bed may not be made everyday. But I have realized that it's not that I have "no life"- I have "the life."
-Colin and I make english muffin/egg/bacon/jalapeno sandwiches every morning
-I addressed all of the wedding announcements myself, no sweat
-I go running with Colin almost everyday(he runs faster and farther than I do)
-I have a pair of orange halloween socks
-Took a trip to Pocatello with my man
-Colin is an Idaho licenced insurance agent and now works part time
-I usually go buy Colins groceries for him
-With investigation, I got a $50 charge taken off my student account
-Today, I did a zig-zag part in my hair for the first time in over a year
-Colin took me to see Where The Wild Things Are
-I bought a new hair brush
-I made guacamole with Colin tonight and we ate it all while watching the food channel
-The leaves are all falling off the trees all over town and I'm finally experiencing what is called "Fall"
My life consists wedding plans and anything to do with the love of my life. And I am content. I guess I should live it up while I can right?
