Zoo

We finally got a nice enough day to wrap up Beck's school year at the Zoo. We were greeted with the best surprise ever...Aunt Liz. She just happened to be on some strange work retreat at the Zoo. There is something so great about seeing somebody you really like when you least suspect it.

Beck Graduated...Preschool

Super Star's Preschool no more for Beck. We will miss all his friend and most of all Mrs. Lindley. How lucky Beck was to have her as his teacher and friend. Ira cannot wait to join the class of friends next year. Watch out Mrs. Lindley.

Late Cinco De Mayo

Ruby and her baby...

When Beck was a baby, GG weighted down a baby stroller. Beck would push it around GG's house without even being able to walk by himself. The only difference is that Ruby insists on a baby being in the stroller.

Alex and Cand 26.2

26.2 miles Done. 2nd Marathon for Candice and Alex raced accross with little to no training. Way to go! We had a great day following them up and around Pineview and meeting them at the bottom of Ogden Canyon. Then we cheered them over the finish line. Here are some highlight pics:

Beck Boy

I cannot believe this little guy is wrapping up Preschool. It makes me sad to think that I will never see his cute little smiley face running out of Mrs. Lindley's. I am so glad that he loves learning and is looking forward to Kindergarten. He has been growing up in so many ways. I am glad that he still loves his Mom.

Beck's Top People: (really he keeps a ranking)
1. GG ( Great Grandma Walker) Yah no chance in ever passing her up.
2. Stephie.... this is all based on her treats hidden in her room.

5. Candice... really she should beat out Stephie. Unfortunately Candice cares for Beck's entire well being and does require him to eat good food as well as treats. This really dropped her ranking.

Soccer

Beck and Ira's first Soccer season. Notice there are no pictures of Ira.... Yep he does not play. He is more of a sideline watcher.



I guess there is no such thing as positions in Pee Wee Soccer. I love how they all run in a pack all over the field.

St. George

We spent the weekend in St. George. We planned for this weekend because my family has gotten into WATCHING the Iron Man Triathlon. Each Year St. George hosts an Iron Man. This was my first year watching. No, it did not motivate me. I cannot believe there were 1100 people who subjected their bodies to this. It included a swim of 2.4 miles, a bike ride of 112 miles, and a marathon run of 26.219 mi. All this was done in 90 degree weather. We spent some time on Saturday at a spot where we could watch some of the biking as well as the run. Then we ended up our night downtown at the finish line. These people would run through the finish line with steam and then just collapse. It is really awesome to watch. People come from all over the world to compete.Then of course after the Iron Man wore us out, we sat poolside.
