Welcome to our journey as a family, who have no biological relation to each other, but who seek to follow God's will together.

T-Monster goes to Kindergarten!

Image Image
Not sure if Kindergarten is ready for him, but he is so ready for Kindergarten. I remember when we first were placed with T, with a June birthday and being a boy, I just figured he may need to wait to go to Kindergarten. I soon realized that there would be no need. Always a very verbal child and overly friendly, makes a friend no matter where we go. Very good at remembering details and probably could already read if he really wanted to, he is so ready to have a new challenge. We will see how long it takes for him to say he does not want to go, after all it is everyday all day, not something he is use too. First day he said it was "awesome". Second day he says he got a time out on the playground for jumping in the sand box before the teacher said it was OK. I still worry about if it will be too much for his hyper self, being all day, but so far to good. Yes we could not take 1st day school pictures with out a light saber, LOL.

PS- I know I have been a terrible blogger, but my plug drive for my camera disk got messed up and the only way to get my pictures off my camera and onto my computer is to ask my computer geek and he is not so nice about that it got broke in the first place so for now, unless it is really special it is not going to get posted. Let's face it pictures are why you visit in the first place.

Our second Beach Trip!

One of my best friends and I took our six children, all five and under by ourselves, to the beach. Husbands had to work, the kids are all great friends and are use to spending allot of time together. I really enjoy my friend, she is like my older sister with out the big sister I told you to do it this way, sorry Sitter. Most days were spent going to the beach in the morning and the pool in the afternoon. We got a babysitter for one night and had a fun girls night, and my sister came for two days and helped, it was great fun. I hope we can make if an every year adventure, maybe next year we will have better luck with getting a teenager to go with us to help out. Highlights included light saber fighting on the porch and mini golf on the Black Pearl. Oh and not to forget that when Aunt Sitter took T-Monster back to her beach house to spend the night, he decided to drink two lemonades and then preceded to pee in her king size bed, in the spot where Uncle Doughboy sleeps, he better hope he does not find out. Best of all we left the condo fairly clean and nothing broken, YEA!!
