Welcome to our journey as a family, who have no biological relation to each other, but who seek to follow God's will together.

Snap Shot Sunday: Being the Youngest!

Image
When you are the youngest in the family of six, some things may not always go the way they should. You may be mistaken for a sack of taters.

Image
Or a canvas to create upon.

Image
You may be left places when you have to climb big obstacles by yourself.
Image
Or to high places and wonder how you will ever get down.

Image
You may get tired of waiting for someone to put you to bed.

Image
ImageOne thing is for certain, three little boys love you to pieces and are always there when you really need them.  Someday you will really be glad you have three big protectors, even if you never  meet a guy willing to date you, after he finds out who your brothers are, hee hee.  We love you our little princess pink and we pray hard for you each day.

Family Fun!!

Image You can see in the first picture where we went this weekend.   It was a great family trip. Not to far away and just right in length.  It only takes about an hour to go through the entire zoo.  Then they have a great playground and park right outside.  Really neat one at that.
ImageNot sure what the thumbs ups were about but at least they smiled, at least one of them.

Image
Here we are at the giraffes, Little Stray really liked looking at their long necks and legs.
Image
Chunk-A kept calling him Ker-check, as in Tarzan's father in the
Disney movie.

Image
Only bear in the zoo, this is my favorite picture.

Image
My own little monkey in a tree.

Image
Alligators, it was cool how close you could get to the animals.

Image
Little Stray LOVED the elephants, they are the first animal you see when you enter the zoo.  He kept asking the rest of the time, "where elephants go?" So we stopped back by and saw them on the way out.
This was the beginning of our fun long weekend.  We enjoyed our first family day together and enjoyed the rest of the beautiful, first signs of fall, together as a family as well.
