Welcome to our journey as a family, who have no biological relation to each other, but who seek to follow God's will together.

Snap Shot Sunday: Fall Fun!

We are very blessed to have a great corn maze put on every year right near our home, less than a mile away.  Each year had been better than the one before, with them adding new things every year.  This year it was all included in one price for each and our youngest two are free so not to bad for a family of six.

Waiting for the tickets.

Entering the maze, great fun, everyone made it through and everyone walked on their own for the most part.

Sissy so LOVED the slide, she worried all the workers, "Can she go down by herself?"

"Uh, ya she only has done it a million times already".  As fast as she could run up the hill, and jump in front of everyone.

Jumping In! (Not to be left out)
It was a very enjoyable afternoon, Computer Geek and I both agreed that it was a lot of fun for us as well.  Maybe it's a sign that family outing will be less of a chore (for us) and more fun for everyone, but I won't hold by breathe just yet.  (cause that would mean they are growing up and that might be sad for me, and I am just not ready yet :)

Snap Shot Sunday: My Soccer Star!!

Image
Chunk-A could not wait to play another sport, so when his best girl called to say she would be playing soccer, well he just had to do it too.  Once again he has impressed this ma-ma.  The smiles say it all.

Image
Here he is with his best gal, and her little brother.  They are all so cute on the field together.
Image
Here he is after kicking one in for a score, he was so proud.  In his last game he scored 3 goals and had 2 assists.  He is really a go getter and is not afraid to get in and fight for the ball.
Image
In one game he accidentally over kicked and kicked another little boy in the chest.  Chunk-A was so upset, the other boy had to come over and tell him he was ok, before Chunk would stop crying, he thought he really hurt him.  My sweet, caring loving  boy, how are you ever going to survive this family.
